short holiday jaunt to lake placid
Second time here, previously in the summer, this time in the winter. Enjoyed skiing, skating, proximity to Lake Placid Village. Property is clean, adirondack style furnishings. Easy checkin/check out. Kitchen fully equipped. Smart TV works great. Nice fireplace

July 4th week
We had a great stay at Tuk-A-Way for 5 nights last week. There was enough room for 8 people (2 families of 4) to sit in the kitchen, play games in the living area, and sleep. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for us, as we ate almost all meals there. The location was great; close enough that the drive was easy but far enough that we could relax in the quiet of the neighborhood. Thank you as well for being dog friendly!

Clean, well-stocked house with plenty of space
We chose this house to share with family because it was close to a June wedding at the Whiteface Club and Resort. It ended up being even better than we anticipated. It was walking distance (albeit a long walk) to the venue, and a short drive into town. Our first impression upon arrival was how clean the condo was - even the baseboards were dust-free. Each bedroom was comfortable and stocked with plenty of blankets for the cooler nights, and the en-suite bathrooms had extra towels, and enough toilet paper for a few days. The kitchen had foil, plastic wrap, many pots, pans, baking dishes, cups, glasses and dishes. The management company staff were great and even helped when we locked ourselves out at 10 pm.

The house was great! There was 10 of us, and a small dog, all family. The house was a prefect size since it was abnormally cold this past weekend. The only downside is checking in at 4. I thought that was very late. We also had to check out by 10. I feel a normal time would have been to check in at 3 and out at 11. Otherwise we all loved our stay!!!

Great Adirondack experience with this nicely appointed condo. It had everything we needed and more. This 4 bedroom/ 4 bathroom worked perfect for a group of us heading to a wedding in town with a cocktail hour at the Moose Lodge Boathouse followed by a reception at the Whitface Club & Resort!

A peaceful getaway
The townhouse was perfect for our family since everyone had his/her own room and bath. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed making a few meals. The location was just right for hiking in the autumn beauty.

Very pleased with the property and the process. Clean and comfortable and well provisioned with what you need to enjoy your time. Beautiful area, two blocks or so to the water and the Moose Lodge Boat House restaurant and less than 100 yards to the Jack Rabbit Hiking/Cross Country ski trail. Would definitely return.

sibling wedding weekend
My brother, sister-in-law and their two kids (ages 5 weeks and 2.5 years) and my family (two adults; kids 7 and 9 years old) stayed here for the wedding of our sibling. This place struck the perfect balance: family friendly and clean and well appointed. Everything was clearly labeled, there were games for the older kids, and the bunk beds were a hit. The adults were very comfortable, too, with a nice indoor and outdoor hangout spaces and a very functional kitchen. We hope to stay again! Such a sweet spot with owners that very clearly care for their space.

Wonderful getaway
We have been coming to lake placid for about 5 years now and enjoy trying out new places. This was a great find! Great location close to town with plenty of space for the whole family. Every room with its own bathroom - score! Fresh firewood and a big kitchen. Lots of fun games too. Our only recommendation would be to adjust the living room furniture for more comfortable movie watching. The images show the couch opposite the tv but in reality it was against the windows. I’d recommend replacing the rockers with a love seat and making an L shaped seating area - it would be ideal! The furnishings throughout are fabulous. All of the fun pillows are a wonderful touch. Would definitely come back!
