I have never written a bad review before, but withNo weather stripping under the door allowed not only cold air into the small room, the room also was extremely noisy as the room sits a couple feet from cars, and people outside coming and going at all hours of the night. It also didn’t help that there was a tractor with a snow blade that comes at five in the morning for an hour and a half beeping and making lots of noise (to do what should’ve been a five minute job with the right equipment), an impossible time to sleep. Room is much smaller with no dresser or place to put anything away so you have to pile it right next to the bed which is next to the wall. Bathroom is so teeny and freezing cold with no heat and no lighting that you can’t even see when you’re in the Tiny shower. Paid $220 a night with all the added fees… for that kind of money I recommend finding something else because any place would be better!

A wonderful experience!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Heavenly Valley Lodge. The location was convenient for us; just a short drive down the road and you're at the shore of the lake. The gas fireplace was so nice. Having a code on the door made check-in and check-out a breeze. There were two very minor issues. We saw a small mouse the first night there. He scurried into the kitchen someplace and was never seen again. Also, I felt the kitchen could have used some ceramic cups, bowls, and plates, rather than the disposable ones. These tend to be better for microwaving and I don't mind doing some dishes. These things did not bother us and overall this was a wonderful experience.

Property was great there was no reception so the room number and code is sent in advance. This unfortunately does not work if you have an international number. The phone number from Expedia was not the local reception. It took a little while to sort this out and the only downside

Photo on website isn't accurate, small rooms, "kitchenette" is a microwave and mini-fridge. Location is very close to ski slope. Check-in was a real pain, no staff on site, very confusing - poor communication, no posted phone # to call. Housekeeping staff was super friendly. I would not stay here again.

We loved that the hotel was self check-in. I think some reviews mentioned the lack of staff availability but that’s to be expected with autonomous hotels, and we had no problem at all. We absolutely loved the quaint rooms and privacy. Puppy was happy too as we got one of the pet friendly rooms.We will definitely back!

Me and my boyfriend came to Tahoe for the weekend for our anniversary.We decided to pick heavenly valley lodge. It did not disappoint! Check in was easy as all you had to do was just put a code for your room. When walking in they had the fireplace on for us which made the room warm and welcoming. They had plates and cups and a small kitchen area. As well they had Netflix and YouTube on the tv so we could watch. Housekeeping was very nice. about a 4 min drive to heavenly village.Would definitely be staying here again.

Cute, quaint room which was perfect for our 3 night early November stay. Best part was the ambiance of the fireplace. We had an issue with the TV the first night but the super friendly maintenance guy took care of it and also gave food and hike recommendations! Over all a great stay!
