I had booked through Expedia as they had a better price than booking directly through Hilton. At time of booking there was no fee for self parking, but when we arrived, we were informed that the only parking option was valet at $27 per day. We were given room on first floor beside my request for upper floor. Room was in need of serious remodel, furniture scuffed, scratched, generally worn. Dark walls made room feel dark and small window opening onto parking forced us to keep curtains closed when we were in room. Overall, property needs extensive renovation as it is very dated. We did not eat on site; didn’t expect much based on our experience with the room.

If it were'nt for the parking, I would give this hotel a positive review. The rooms were nice and the hotel was clean. The parking was terrible. They only have valet parking for 27bucks a pop every time you leave and come back. So, you have to pay 27 bucks and wait for the valet to get your car instead of just being able to walk to an on site parking lot and getting in your car and going. Totally deplorable and subpar situation.

Check in time wad 4 pm. We arrived 15 min early and we were told our room was not ready and stearnly told that check in wasn't until 4 pm. They said they would text us when the room was ready. We wentback at 430 as no text received. They then got us in but made us listen to the time share guy. We had just got done hiking and had dinner reservations for 5 pm. Very stressful. Not likely to stay again.

We had a studio with a kitchenette. The kitchenette is extremely small and not really very convenient to cook a decent meal. There is no dishwasher and the sink is too small. The hotel forced us to use valet parking which was additional expense on top of the already expensive property!! And they let us know about the valet parking being the only option 2 days before check in! Terrible!!

Never stay here!

We were charged for valet parking at check in. We were told there was no other option. We were not told this when we booked. The front desk attendant offered to let us speak to the manager. We said we would like to. The attendant walked in and out of the manager office in 10 seconds and said that we have to pay the fee . The manager would not even come out to speak with us. Worst service ever! The room was 80 degrees when we got in it. It took hours to cool down! Never again! I will tell everyone.

Not a hotel, an expensive sales pitch

They took a long time to check us in.Our room wasn't ready till almost 5pm.They have aggressive sales for time shares built right into the hotel.The layout of the hotel feels like it was designed by a crazy person or the hotel was added to after it was built.Lots of long hallways and turns to get to where your going.Despite being right on the beach, they don't have beach access.The staff is pretty young and its not their fault, but they aren't trained well to deal with anything.Not much by way of amenities,this hotel exists to sell timeshares.It has a pool area, an activities center that closes early,and a very small gym.Those are the minor issues.Now the big stuff.The parking is beyond terrible.Imagine trying to park at a Walmart during Christmas shopping season, but MUCH WORSE!$20 to park in a tiny lot behind the building.You probably wont find a spot there unless you are super lucky, or just hang out there until someone leaves.Great way to spend a vacation right?Instead you will be forced to go across the street and down the block to park in the shadiest unsecured lot Ive ever parked in.Broken glass, homeless, garbage everywhere.My window faced a roof slope.So basically no window. Your room shares an entryway with another room.So you have to scan your car twice to get into your room and every time your neighbor opens either door its super loud.I was woke up 3x in the middle of the night by my poor neighbors just coming and going. There is more bad but Ive run out of space.

Room was terrible. They have upgraded rooms but ours was old and dark. Lights were flickering on and off. Door to the bathroom would get stuck and we would have to bang on it repeatedly with force to open it. All of the TVs are very old and don’t connnect to internet. You can rent DVDs and use their DVD player. No breakfast on the property. The pool has a nice sunset view and you are a close walk to the beach.
