Worst experience ever!
My friends and I (a group of four) booked this hotel for a one-night stay with modest expectations. While the initial look of the property was grungy, our experience revealed significant concerns. Upon flipping the bedsheets and bathroom, we discovered an unsettling amount of hair and an unidentified brown substance, raising serious doubts about the cleanliness of the accommodations. When I addressed these issues with the front desk staff, their response was dismissive and unhelpful, leaving the matter unresolved. We were left sleeping on the floor on top of our clothes. For anyone considering staying in Kings beach, It is in your best interest to spend the extra money to get secure accommodations that meet basic hygiene and service standards.

Perfect low-key, low-cost spot to take my dog for a Tahoe getaway, 5-minute walk to Kings Beach & lots of food nearby. Manager was friendly and while the motel is older and has some wear & tear, everything was clean and the room was more spacious that I was expecting. I would absolutely stay here again. If you're really coming to Lake Tahoe for a luxury resort, you're doing it wrong.
