Got lucky after a missed connection
Completely random pick when I got stuck on the island for an overnight due to a missed connection. Close to a lot of good stuff and far enough away from the airport. Located in a secure community. Very relaxed stay. Would visit again.

Great value for money
Room was really nicely set up. Had the feel of a high end hotel with the nuances of a family hostel. Friendly and welcoming with the much more expensive White Sands resort opposite - if you want to use their facilities then you can negotiate with them (cross the road and speak to the guard and then the lobby for rates). WiFi was steady and reliable, I think it's been upgraded since some previous reviews. You can take a trike to nearby shops and malls and there are numerous beach options in the area. I'm picky but this is one place I'd happily visit again. Only negatives are no breakfast option (although a short walk to shops) and some road noise, they could also improve the blinds as they wouldn't properly close making us feel as if we lacked privacy.

Inconvenient in many ways
No wifi. No breakfast available(unlike what's written on the internet). Uncomfortable toilet seat. No everyday sheets change and no cleaning. Good thing? Quiet.

Nice hostel with major flaw
This is a nice hostel in a nice location with one major flaw, which is that it's situated too close to the road and the dorm room is extremely noisy. The motorcycles going by prevent sleep even if you have earplugs. Also the Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time. There's another Dee GuestHouse in Mactan and that one is really nice. I stayed there for several days and it was great.

Great area in Lapau Lapau. Only thing is that Lapau Lapau is a small town and it's far from Cebu City itself. On the plus side, it's close to the airport.

オーナー家族宅の一室
ホワイトサンズの住宅(別荘)街の中の一軒で、日本人オーナーと家族が暮らす家のゲストルームを旅行者に貸し出しています。リビングには家族とペットの犬と猫がいます。犬は来客に吠えるが怖くはない。キッチンなどは使わせてもらえます。冷房、ホットシャワー、入口のセキュリティ、Wifi完備。ボトル水あり。6人用ドミでしたが、ダイビングショップの送迎で、寝るだけだったので快適でした。 hotels.comの地図では、通りの海側を指していますが、対面側の私道を住宅街に入りセキュリティゲートを通過した奥にあります。場所が判りにくいので、初回はタクシー(空港からPHP250位)や送迎で行くと良い。

シャワー最高！
チェックインは簡素なもので、パスポート見せて鍵をもらって終わりです。 寄ってくる犬が4匹。 かわいいですが、一匹は慣れてくると腰を振ります(^^) 猫も2匹いたかな。 おとなしいです。 特筆すべきは、シャワーとお湯と勢いが良いです。 こちらのものですが、シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディーソープは備え付けがあります。 タオルも2枚ありましたが毎日交換ではないみたい。 部屋に金庫も冷蔵庫もエアコンもあるので、快適でしたよ(^ ^)

いいところでした。オーナーさんが日本人で親切に色々教えてくれました。 設備自体は普通でベット、テレビ、クーラー、セキュリティボックスという感じでした。 洗面所にはバスタオルがありましたが、手を拭くタオルはなかったので持っていった方がいいです。 また、シャンプーその他はありますが、カミソリや歯ブラシはないので、これも持っていった方が良いです。 暖かい国なので仕方ありませんが、洗面所にはゴキブリが出ました。近くのスーパーに売っていたバイゴンという殺虫剤を吹きかけたらすぐにやっつけることができますので、虫が嫌いな方はそれでやっつけたらいいと思います。 また、犬が4匹くらいと猫が2匹いました。どの子も人懐こくおとなしい子達なので好きな方には旅行中の癒しになると思います。
