Overall this experience was terrible. My check in process took close to 45 minutes due to one employee, a gentleman who was standing around to answer questions. After I checked in online, I began to wait for the “text” with my room key information. The text wasn’t coming in. The employee asked “what’s the name on the reservation? Let me go see what’s going on” and walked to the back room. This employee didn’t ever return. Waited for about 30 minutes. I approached the front desk representative and I told them the situation and they stated “oh, he left already.” So essentially he asked for my information, made it seem like he would handle the room key situation, and just left? What type of customer service is this? Mind you, I also had a 1 year old baby with me around 11pm at night. I’ve never felt so disrespected. To have me sitting there waiting and thinking the room was being processed while this man just left his shift. My 2nd issue with this hotel, Saturday night 11/30 a hockey game is going on at the t-mobile arena, why didn’t the hotel warn the guests about the TERRIBLE parking situation if you leave the hotel? I left the hotel and it took hours to even get back into the hotel due to the hockey game parking in the same structure. Please warn your guests the long wait times if you leave the structure during an event!! Overall poor poor poor experience. I probably will not stay here again and will strongly advise others to not stay at New York New York.

Average for Las Vegas stay
Check-in was horrible. Took forever to get checked in and then waited close to an hour for our room key. Formula 1 was in town prior to our arrival and that probably added to the confusion. Rest of stay was very nice. I do think the daily resort fee is a scam to make more money that doesn’t have to be shown in published room rates.
