This hotel needs updating of the rooms. They’re old and in poor condition. The bathrooms reminded me the place was very old. There were no vending machines and some of the ice machines were broken. I will not stay again.

It's ok if you're booking the bargain rate. The rooms and the entire Masquerade section is extremely outdated, dark, dank and a bit depressing. The room was large and clean. No value for the $50 resort fee, the pool was closed most of the time we were there.

We tried many time calling the house keeping department but no one answers. We wanted to ask for extra blankets because it was cold but no one is picking up the phone. We upgraded to suite but no coffee maker and bo microwave. The shower was making puddles on the floor of the toilet area since there’s no door. 3 towels only with two wash cloths. No floor towel for the wet area. Since no one aswers the phone, we can’t request for extras. I like the pull out bed from the couch but then again, no extra blankets. The lights were dark and there was no way to brighten the room. That room was not good for older people since it is dark. They did not get the room ready, I was in the shower but there’s no body wash.

Awesome hotel. Huge room. Hallway smelled a little like sewage the last day of our stay so that was unpleasant but we couldn't smell it in the room.

Rio has not been maintained well. Room service never pick up the phone. The room smells. The room has no basic stuff like coffee, tea, etc. Restaurant and food court has limited. Buffer never open. They need management change.

The RIO Hotel has its pros and cons. On the positive side, parking was free and convenient and hassle-free, which made arriving and leaving the hotel easy. However, the rooms were quite disappointing. They felt outdated and lacked basic amenities. For example, there was no kettle in the room, and the hotel did not provide essential items like disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, or toiletries. The carpet also seemed like it could use a deeper clean, as it didn’t feel very fresh. As for the casino on the first floor, the odds were quite low, making it difficult to win. Additionally, the selection of machines was limited compared to other casinos I’ve visited. Overall, while the hotel has some convenience factors, the room quality and casino experience left much to be desired.
