Shower head didn’t work well, water pressure was not good for anyone who has a lot of long hair. Beds were comfortable room was clean but for the cost I’d think could have been better cheap plastic cups no coffee in room.

Great overnight stay
We had a quick overnight business trip and stayed here just to sleep. It was a great option, very clean, comfortable, and smelled fresh and clean as well. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, and we appreciated not having to leave the hotel and drive into Vegas to find breakfast. The free, easy self parking was very nice as well. We would stay here again.

Pros: I like that I don't have to walk a mile to get to my room. Free parking is great. I also like there is some entertainment that doesn't include the hustle and bustle of a casino. Cons: The breakfast option is a little inconvenient. Definitely "not" a deal breaker.

Room not ready on time. But great otherwise.
We had our room reserved almost a year in advance. Check in time is at 3:00pm. We arrived a little after 3, checked in and was told our room would be ready in a few minutes. We asked how we would be notified and was told they would call us. Not a problem. We went upstairs and ate at their pizza restaurant which was good with great service. An hour later, no call. So when we finished dinner we went back to the front counter where we waited an additional 10-15 minutes while the clerk left the counter, went to the back, came back out, left again, came back once more and told us she is checking with housekeeping. I explained we had already waited an hour and we had a show to see. Shortly after they found us a room.

Surprising quiet being fairly close to strip. Not a big fan of red shaded window though. Appreciate the free parking which is super easy and convenient. Breakfast is the best.

The restaurant, Joel’s Chophouse, was not at the same level as the hotel. The service was so negligent we asked for the bill before the main course was served because we had waited 40 minutes after our appetizer and salad without anyone checking on us. Stay at the Ahern, but avoid this restaurant.
