Never stay here, no more space for more details...
I wish I would have had a better review before I decided on this hotel. Lots of issues with this hotel. Check in is not until 5PM. This alone was enough not to stay there. After a 7 hour flight and 3 hour drive we wanted to freshen up a bit but no possibility. Not even anyone at all at the hotel. No one at front desk, in fact no front desk. And all on the second floor??? When 5pm finally arrived the manager came out of what seemed to be a condo in the hotel. Then we arrived at room with a small double bed. I asked for a bigger bed or a room with 2 beds and was told no. The next day we walked past a room with 2 beds. The little things were a joke as well. The shower curtain was to short for the shower, the hair dryer hose would not attach to the dryer, couldn't walk around the bed. The second night we had friends visit us from a few hours drive away and they reserved a room at the same hotel. After waiting until 5 there was a note on the door saying there was an emergency so go find another hotel. Our friends had no where to stay so it ruined our night as they had to drive home after dinner. You mean to tell me you don't have anyone you know that can stay there for a couple hours to give someone a key, especially after they reserved days before. Then the day of check out, we were minutes from being ready to leave and at 11 am sharp they started banging on the door for us to leave. This hotel and it's staff suck. Everything was a disaster. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Cute, clean with a lovely staff. Located right in the center of the city. The only issue is that the walls are very thin and we could hear every word our neighbors said. Ideal for 1 night stay.

Nice Hotel Great Location
The Stay was amazing , the Hotel is in a Great Location close to the Station and also within the City. There were a lot of independent shops including the Market on Sunday. Honfleur Town which is also very Lovely is only 30 mins away, Great for a Day Trip if you’re Visiting Le Havre

We arrived late, due to not having phone signal following a break down with the car. Were refused check in and then not offered a refund although we didn't stay in the facility. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone, staff very unhelpful.

Kindness and generosity
The owner was the kindest, most accomadating person we have encountered. We arrived one day late( our fault as we double booked the hotel the night before). I arrived so very sick and she arranged a Docter for me. Then the rental car company will pick up our rental car at the hotel, after she arranged it for us. Her husband even brought us to the train station in the morning and helped us inside. Who on earth does this in our world. Everyone is always in a hurry. Truly I will never forget her kindness and their adorable hotel. What a gem!

Lovely Petit Vatel
Lovely, modern décor, computer available for public use. Though I didn't have breakfast, the café is fresh, clean and lovely. Staff members were all friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel. As an American accustomed to a/c and heat if necessary, I was glad the evenings were cool since I did not see a/c and...heat rises.

Great place in town
I cane for the night and this exactly what I needed. Close to the port, close to the center of town. Bars and restaurants in the vicinity. The stuff is nice and hospitality was very good. Price was in my range too. When I pass by again, I would definitely stay again.

Great Paris Stay...
The Hôtel Le Petit Vatel is a great place to stay in Paris. It's away from the tourist areas and in a quiet part of Paris. There's a large shopping center across the square, plenty of restaurants nand bars close by and even a movie theatre across the road. The metro is also just 2 minutes away. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Good value in Le Havre
It's an inexpensive hotel that offers good value. The beds were comfortable and the location is central. Don't expect an elevator or a posh room; we wanted to sleep well and otherwise spend our time out of the room. The WiFi in our room was not reliable but it worked often enough that it was fine.

Convenient to nice restaurants and shopping
Nice hotel in Contact chain which is always consistent. Nothing fancy about the room or the price. Breakfast was quite good. Very quiet except for traffic on main street which was doubled up because of construction on a parallel thoroughfare due to tramway track installation. Ask for a room off the street. Beware - there is no elevator in the hotel so travel light. Only parking is on the street but it's free after 5:30 pm until 9:00 am the next morning. If you want Contact sticker, you must make your reservation by phone not internet.

The hotel location was not in a well traveled location. The hotel had no elevator and our room was on the 3rd floor. There was no A/C and the hotel was undergoing some remodeling. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and spoke good English.

Good for the price
this is a convenient lower priced hotel. No frills but good for a short stay. Le Havre is completely shut down on Sunday but we needed a one night stay before we could pick up a rental car on Monday!
