In leafy setting at far end of traditional Dombes farmhouse on working farm (cereals, calves from May to September), gîte has accommodation for 7 people with 3 bedrooms & 2 shower rooms. Courtyard and private garden leading to entry direct into light & airy living room and spacious lounge. Practical fitted kitchen area, small utility room (washing machine, tumble drier), separate WC (wash-hand basin). Small interconnecting study area with fitted closet for master bedroom (queen-size bed) with en-suite shower room (walk-in shower). 1st floor (white staircase at centre of living room): 2 bedrooms (double bed, large closet) (2 single beds, 120cm wide bed), shower room (walk-in shower), separate WC (wash-hand basin). Central heating (wood pellets), warm/cool air system.|Occupants of gîte have priority access to owner's swimming pool (low cover, sheltered terrace) from mid May to mid September (10am to 8pm). Nearby: fishing in man-made lake. With its tranquil countryside, thousand little lakes and delicious cuisine, you'll love the Dombes plateau, ideal for leisurely walks or cycle rides (a few bikes available at the gîte). Worth a visit: markets at MEXIMIEUX and CHATILLON-SUR-CHALARONNE (ancient market hall). Further away: city of Lyon (historical heritage, gastronomy), the capital of the BRESSE (Royal monastery at Brou), the BUGEY (well-known vineyards).
