The "Château de Linars", a large eighteenth century mansion, is located in a small traditional hamlet, 3 kilometers from Villefranche de Panat where you will find all the essential shops (bakery, grocery store, butcher, tobacco, restaurant, bar ... and market on Sunday morning!).

The 3 cottages offered for rent have kept the spirit of a private residence and the refinement of their decor, they harmoniously combine modern comfort with the best of French art de vivre.

You can enjoy the castle park, the surrounding area, meadow with stream and horses, wood and chestnut, and even a small pond for a fun fishing. Also at your disposal a large games room with ping-pong and foosball and the old bakehouse, in a vaulted room with fireplace, for grilled meals with friends or family.

The region offers many sites to visit (Roquefort and its cellars, museum Soulages, viaduct of Millau ...), grandiose landscapes (the gorges of Aveyron and Tarn, Aubrac ...), villages of character (Conques, Belcastel, Brousse castle, Couvertoirade ...) and sports activities (hiking, horseback riding, water sports ...) that will fill your holidays. At the heart of the Aveyron, we are located 45 km from Rodez and Millau and 60 km from Albi, ideally located to discover this beautiful department!

excellent séjour dans un lieu formidable
accueil très chaleureux, maison vaste, bien meublée et très bien équipée tant au plan des jeux ( ping-pong, baby-foot, ...), qu'en cuisine, promenade à cheval, visite du château. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille : ados, parents et grands-parents, tout le monde est ravi.

Excellent week-end familial dans un environnement très plaisant. La déco, la propreté et les beaux volumes de l’hébergement sont un vrai plus pour un séjour détente au calme et au large. La gentillesse de Joseph, sa disponibilité et sa discrétion nous ont mis immédiatement à l’aise.

Séjour de 15 jours très agréable dans ce gîte vaste , très confortable , restauré avec beaucoup de goût et doté d'un beau parc . Nous étions 10, enfants et adultes , et chacun a apprécié les activités offertes sur place ou dans les environs.

Agréable séjour dans le "chateau" de Linars
Si vous aimez l’authentique, c'est bien dans le "château" de Linars que vous devez vous rendre. Très belle bâtisse du 18ème siècle arrangée avec gout (meubles d'époque et belle décoration). Ne soyez pas surpris toutefois si vous trouvez les pièces du rez-de -chaussée un peu obscures et fraîches, c'est l'authenticité qui prime. Le parc est quand à lui magnifique avec de nombreux arbres majestueux. Prévoir absolument une petite laine même en plein été pour ne pas être pris au dépourvu. Linars est situé dans une région riche en visites de tous genres, de nombreux lacs offrent la possibilité de baignade ou de pêche, les paysages sont magnifiques et les spécialités culinaires sont nombreuses. Nous avons passés tous en famille un très agréable séjour dans ce lieu de l'Aveyron.
