They did a great job of renewing an 1886 hotel. Only problem was we were not ready to climb 2 long flights of stairs with luggage at 10,000' elevation.

I liked staying in a hotel that was preserved as it might have been 100 years ago. There's no elevator, so at ten thousand feet, climbing flights of stairs isn't easy.

Fun it was to stay in a hotel whose architecture dated back to the 1880s. It had features reminiscent of the 1880s Like floors that were almost level and stairs that were built to the 1880s standard. It had a very comfy feel to it

This is a very quaint, quiet, clean hotel right in downtown Leadville. You can walk on Main Street, grab dinner/lunch/breakfast, shop, rent bikes and not have to drive. I truly enjoyed my stay. They had a fan, a sound machine and hairdryer… the essentials! The front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay again.

We loved this hotel. Our room was small but that’s fine for us. It does have that old world charm and we love it. It’s right off the Main Street so very easy to walk to restaurants and shopping and surprisingly quiet. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Well stay here again.
