LOVE the Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora. This is a historic building very well maintained and right downtown. Beds are comfortable and clean.

Lakeside Inn review

A beautiful quant, very charming hotel, very clean and very comfortable. The room wad a little dated, but the location was perfect right on the water, close to shops, restaurants, and festivals.

We stay here every few months. Only downside is that the walls are very thin and you hear everything from the neighbors and the hallway. If you sleep soundly, you’ll be fine. It’s in an amazing location.

There was black mold around all the windows the room smelled of must and mold had to have it sprayed the tub had mold around it and the linercof the tub was coming off took 10 minutes each time to get hot water i think ill pass on staying there next time

Lakeside Inn is so so fabulous. So beautiful. So serene and relaxing by the whole lake area. Nice for about 2-3 days. Nice walking in shops and browsing. People all so awesome. Lots of food options. Loved being there. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend for everyone to relax in this area. Wr absolutely loved loved loved it.

They still use metal keys, and my key did not work. I had to find a staff member to help me get in my room. The property has a lot of character, and the location is superb.

Really enjoyed the beautiful property. Shoutout to housekeeping who provided excellent service and handwritten welcome and goodbye notes. As a fellow hotel hospitality worker, I loved this personalized touch. Location was fantastic! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location but…

The Lakeside inn is located in a beautiful spot however the smell of mildew is very strong. Also the bed linens were quite worn and yellowed. The staff was warm & welcoming.

Just plain perfect

My new go-to favorite place. This is a gorgeous, historical hotel close in walking distance to everything Mount Dora has to offer! They even have a fantastic scavenger hunt you can do for a prize! Clean, elegant, beautiful, just plain perfect! Ask to play games on the garden lawn, too!

Lakeside is a charming 1883 inn overlooking the lake. The bedrooms are smaller but comfortable. The inn is not easily accessible for those who have mobility issues as there are stairs and no elevators. The staff were lovely
