Magnificent comfort chalet in the world's largest ski area, with open fireplace, free WLAN and sauna, close to the ski piste (~250 m). Official classification of the tourist office '5 ibexes' (out of 5). The natural stone chalet with 10 bedrooms and an additional mezzanine is located in the tranquil neighbourhood of Les Ménuires-Levassaix. An exclusive holiday quality: skiing in the mega ski area - living in a traditional, cosy mountain village with a correspondingly high quality of life.
On the ground floor there is a cosy dining room for 24 people with an open fireplace and a modern open-plan kitchen. There are also four double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a bathroom with bath and WC and a separate WC. Additional sleeping accommodation for one person.
On the 1st floor is the spacious central living room with open fireplace, followed by the TV lounge with additional sofa set. There are also three double bedrooms on this level as well as a bathroom with shower, a bathroom with bath and WC and a separate WC.
On the 2nd floor there is a mezzanine as a further living/reading room, with a sofa bed for one person and a TV. There are also three bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower and a separate WC on this floor.
In six of the seven double rooms, the beds can be joined or separated.
The chalet consists of two flats; the ground floor flat for up to 9 people and the flat on the 1st and 2nd floors for up to 15 people.
To the centre of the top ski resort Les Ménuires - with covered shopping arcades, supermarket, restaurants, bars, cafés, disco, modern multi-sports centre with swimming pool, ice rink, ski school, childcare - on skis, by free local bus or by car ~1 km or 2 minutes by car.
Also within walking distance: sports shop with ski hire ~500 m, restaurant ~800 m.
Ski info Altitude of chalet ~1,750 m; altitude of ski area up to 3,230 m with glacier; 600 km of pistes, 200 lifts. Les 3 Vallées is the largest ski area in the world - leaving nothing to be desired. The valley run that leads to the chalet (~250 m) and on to the Bettaix chairlift is covered in snow. Several ski schools in Les Menuires Ski operation approx. end of November to beginning of May in the Val Thorens area, reachable by car in about 10 minutes. To the cross-country ski trail ~1.3 km; this leads along the Doron stream to St. Martin de Belleville.
Summer info: Whatever sporting activities you would like to pursue, such as hiking, climbing, fishing, mountain biking or summer tobogganing - all this is possible in St. Martin / Les Menuires. The valley offers 250 kilometres of hiking trails on 50 marked paths. Some of the trails start directly in Le Levassaix / Le Levassay. There are guided mountain tours and two via ferratas.
In summer additional costs for electricity and heating included, visitor's tax and final cleaning (see below) payable on site.
