This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The first visit was the same way, but figured I’d give it another chance. We will not be returning. The price went up substantially from the previous stay which was only 6 months ago. For this price, it’s better to stay at a nicer and newer hotel and even get a free breakfast- something this one doesn’t offer. The only thing this hotel has going for it, is the water park. But even the water park wasn’t great. You shouldn’t have to slow yourself down on a slide just to ensure your own safety. My kiddo banged his head on the side because of the sharp and fast turns. They kindly gave us an ice pack. The lifeguards were great. The bathrooms in the waterpark barely had toilet paper in the three stalls, one toilet was plugged and I’m very serious that none of the 4 or 5 soap dispensers were either not working or empty. Back to the room itself: the bathroom is outdated, cracks around door frames, and a cracked handle in the tub. The main door had a missing flange at the bottom so a LOT of light was coming in under the door. Yea I could block it with towels but…should I have to? The tv was also pretty obnoxious. The channel numbers didnt match the guide so I was constantly turning onto snowy channels. The remote was struggling to work as well. Last thing- the mattress was not that comfortable either. None of these things were HUGE deals, but there was just so many of them and I was already annoyed that the price had gone up so much.

Even though the staff were fantastic, the room we originally booked had Maple bugs in it and they continued to come into the room even though everyone thought they were dealt with ( maybe a secret passage or something ) . We did have to move to a different room and thankfully there was one available for us . Like I said the staff were great but the accommodation that was paid for wasn’t. We might have to consider going to another hotel possibly if visiting Lethbridge again

Booked the hotel because they have a great pool with waterslides. At the time of booking there was no mention that the pool was closed for renovations. Found out at time of checking the pool was closed. The whole point of staying there was so the kids could enjoy the pool.

The property was under renovations, so they were certainly making an effort to keep the place looking nice. Aside from the construction stuff in the hallways (which can't be avoided during a renovation) the place was good. The room was older (see renovation comment) but clean and comfortable. The restaurant downstairs (Tony Romas) was packed !! (NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Edmonton vs Florida) but they still made room for me. The steak sandwich and atmosphere were fantastic and so was the service, even though there were at least 70-80 people in the place the servers were "rocking it" and I never had an empty glass. Sadly the Oilers lost that night :(
