Check in was excellent even though I was early, everything was ready. Staff everywhere are excellent, helpful, efficient and kind. Food was perfect for dinner in McGettigans and breakfast, high quality meat products are nost definitely used. Its a very warm, welcoming, cosy hotel with 2 storeys which is nice for a change from tower blocks as a solo traveller on business. I will definitely stay here again. Theres a sense of calm around this hotel and its run very very well.

Room, breakfast, leisure, all excellent. Seating in foyer, & on first floor, excellent. Staff in the breakfast room, were very friendly, helpful & attentive. I checked in on line, as supposed to speed up process, guy so so slow, no welcome or smile, just, " are you checking in".I just felt, why did I book this. First impression, not good. Rest of staff, wonderful. Will definitely be back, Thank all.

I love sitting in entrance hall and looking at the magnificent stairs watching the world go by. I love the pool and jacuzzi. I love the beds they are so comfy and the pillows so soft. The staff are very friendly and helpful the food is super I have no complaints. This is my go to place when I want a break.

Lovely hotel, great big room with 2 double beds, massive bathroom with bath. Great bar/restaurant with really attentive staff. Struggled a bit with lack of reception staff in the early morning (6.30-7.30am). The pool was big, nice clean changing and showering facilities. Pool area is a little worn and could do with a refresh. Towels were very small, anyone bigger that small would struggle!
