Loud, obnoxious guests predominated

The building, itself, and my room and location were nice. However the walls are thin. Young people wrestling, throwing furniture around yelling, singing all night. This place is made for 20 year kids.

The lockers underneath the beds need to be fixed especially since so many people have already mentioned it. The bathrooms have a bad odour even right after the cleaners are done cleaning. Overall, the service was good. I would recommend this hostel to other travellers.

Great location

Great location! And the staff is very attentive. Te rooms and showers are super clean. The lounge is pretty cool to chill or just rest. Also, the terrace has a nice view.

Good for a quick stay

I liked this hostel but a couple things were not ideal. In the women’s bathroom on my floor there was never soap to wash your hands. I also kind of wished there was an all female floor instead of just designated rooms. Overall this was a nice and clean hostel to stay in!

The rooms were terribly hot (at least my room was) the room was very clean but someone decided not to shower and the odor was putrid.. I did not sleep either night that I was there because of the heat!

Our room smells a sewer and noisy as the commom washroom right across our room. I asked the front desk the second night if they can move us but it says fully booked we stayed 5 nights and i have to put up with it unpleasant and sleepless night. The staff in the front desk need to have a good training for good hospitality. The only good thing is the location but bad service.

Aside from being closely located to the Avanida Metro Station making a short walk getting to Roomoo, I was met by Mary at the desk who made everything so easy. Fluent in Porteguese and English, she was exceptionally helpful, pleasant, sweet, and knowledgeable in all aspects of her job. Thank you Mary, you made everything so easy.

The beds and pillows were clean and pretty comfortable, the rooms are quite small, bathrooms could be a bit cleaner not a bad stay for a few nights. There was no kitchen/fridge really for any food which is a bit of a bummer. Rooftop bar is gorg and overall seems like it is a nice hostel
