Overall nice though we had a duplex room that looked a lot bigger in the pics and had no dividing door between the two rooms. The lane the hotel is down is a bit quiet so Im not sure if I’d feel safe coming back alone at night. Nice beds and very clean.

I recommend super clean and charitable purpose.
Extremely well located venue in the heart of historic Alfama. 13th century building totally refurbished. All brand new and spotless. Room small but sufficient and hyper clean. Nice staff. Nice amenities, lounge area, infused waters… very calm. Also linked to a charitable operation.

I chose this hotel because it was rated 9.4 on Hotels.com website. The people there were very nice but it is NOT a 9.4 rating property. More like an 8 at best. It was simple and clean but very basic and the room and bathroom were very small.

This hotel is a great choice while exploring Alfama! Hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. The room we had was very small, even for Europe!

Beautifully designed interior. Great amenities. Location is a little difficult to access by car. Our room was small for 4 people. Sofa bed pull out is not comfortable for adults. Staff was helpful. Pretty close to the castle and azulejo museum.

Oasis in Fantastic Location
The location is brilliant! It's highly walkable to shops, restaurants, several historic sites, and spectacular views. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The solo room was small but well laid out and very practical, with a small fridge. The hotel has a lovely courtyard to relax in and have a drink. I would recommend taking a taxi/Uber your first time going, especially if you have heavy or large luggage.

A friend recommended this property to me so I am going to pass it forward. It was a great recommendation. It is not an ultra chic hotel but it is perfect for most travelers. It’s clean, modern, friendly and has a good location near the top 2 lookout points in the city. It is located in the old section of the city so walking involves hills, narrow streets and cobblestones, but very charming. The modern parts of the city are just a tram ride away which runs by the hotel. Plenty of good restaurants in the area. Hotel offers 24/7 coffee and water in the lobby and a 12€ per person breakfast. They also offer an affordable and clean car service to the airport.

Interaction with the staff was not the best. Staff was okay but didn't feel very welcoming. The bathroom was quite small and the use of space in the room was a bit odd. The good thing was that the hotel does offer to set up transportation service to and from the airport, in which you pay cash to the driver. Not completely necessary but helpful if you have flight coming in/leaving at odd hours, as Uber is readily available and very affordable. Overall and okay stay but I would not stay there again if I were back in Lisbon.
