The property is right in the middle of Old Lisbon. We had 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The hotel has two buildings and it has elevators even given the 1800s when the building was built. There is no way to park a car there, but you don't need it as it is in the middle of everything.

air conditioning is substandard On minimum 18• was still too warm Safe didn’t work despite numerous attempts from staff . Room often not cleaned until late afternoon BUT ….. the staff are wonderful! Lovely people who couldn’t do enough to help . Don’t think I’ll stay again but will go to the roof terrace bar which is excellent

Lovely hotel that felt like you were staying in an Andy Warhol painting. Very centrally located which made walking to numerous tourist attractions super easy. Very comfortable and clean room, and an excellent breakfast buffet that is well worth the reasonable price. Would also highly recommend the restaurant Renascer No Tejo, a fado place with wonderful food and music. The young owner was a total delight and an amazing singer! It’s located just a couple of minutes away walking in Baixa. Highly recommend the hotel and the restaurant!

Un lindo lugar donde hospedarse. Sin embargo la comunicación muy pobre. Estuvimos a las 6:am después de un tremenda travesía con mi familia. Nos solucionaban un check in temprano con $100 euros (lida) y ante nuestra negativa solo pedimos tener la consideración de comunicarnos tan pron tuvieran listo el apartamento( NUNCA PASÓ) pasada las 4:30 pm volvimos ala recepción del hotel con el sinsabor de la poca humanidad detrás de un sitio bonito. Prefiero lugares menos bellos pero con alma.

The positive first: Hotel staff is wonderful. Very friendly and helpful with great recommendations on things to see and do along with restaurants. The location is great- you are walking distance from the river, Time Out Market, tons of shopping, restaurants, and points of interest. The not great: the hotel is definitely artsy, which is part of the reason we booked. We thought it was a unique, upscale hotel. Our room was at best average. It was mostly white tiles and floors with a mural over the bed. It was a general cold and uncomfortable vibe and not much space at all. There was a peep show window to the shower from the bedroom, which thankfully had a shade you could pull but was super strange. We missed having our room serviced the first day because we slept in. The second day it was needed badly and we left the room at 9am, hoping it would be done when we got back at 2. It wasn’t and we waited an additional 2 hours for it to be serviced (so 7 hours total). We stayed in hotels at similar price points/location hubs in Madrid and Seville and had luxurious rooms, pools, and room service. I feel like the rate you are paying here is for the artsy experience, because it’s definitely not the comfort. This was the least favorite of our hotels in our 6 city trip.
