It was pleasant but building was still in progress but was sited in a central part of lords St. The evening meal was very reasonable for 3 course
Room perfectly clean and comfortable. Although not enough plug sockets for charging near bed. Beautiful building and good service at reception and the bar. Staff very friendly to us. We didn’t eat so can’t comment on the restaurant. Would not recommend the Wetherspoons opposite for breakfast! Awful.
Welcoming to the dog. Be sure to check about music events though. We had third floor rooms and we were still kept awake by a function that went on until 1am. My fault for not checking. Guests not noisy though just the very loud music. Room very warm. Bathroom updated and modern, also clean.
Hotel was comfy and clean, staff nice and polite, manager out spoken and in the wrong. entertainment average, first night food average second night poor. Drink prices good for a hotel.

We have stayed here every year for the last 5 years and always enjoy it. However, this year there was no decaffeinated coffee available in the room and I am unable to have caffeine for medical reasons. We stayed Friday and Saturday nights and asked for the coffee but were told to come back to reception later twice. We were then told at about 11pm on Saturday night that the hotel doesn’t have any at the moment. I was a little disappointed with the amount of time it took to be told this. Other than that everything was good.
I enjoyed our 3 night stay. The checkin was good. The Hotel staff were excellent.our room was very nice. The only Downside to our room was the door to next door made
The sound from next door very loud as if they were in the same room. But overall I would stay here again.
The room was big clean and looked like it had been recently refurbed. It was also quiet considering there was a wedding on so it was very busy. We stayed two weekends in a row and found the service to be excellent. Debbie on reception needs a big shout because she checked us in both weekends and was polite patient and friendly even though she was on her own and busy. Love the idea it is dog friendly because even though we havent a dog of our own my brother was able to bring his dog along to stay aswell
We were accommodated in a suite which was more than Enough room. Had live music in the evening too which was good to pass the time. Only downside was the signal for mobile reception and data and had to purchase WiFi.
Absolutely amazing hotel and staff I will be visiting again very soon

Extremely up set with a male receptionist as he was very rude when during our stay we continually had problems with key card and as I don't like lifts had to walk up and down stairs numerous times during our stay so asked to see manager to which he replied he would give me the same answer but I still insisted to which he I need to change my tone of voice at 68yrs of age with grandchildren older than him I don't take lightly to a very rude young gentleman!.
Management I must say we're very nice couldn't apologise enough but upset our weekend also television did not work.
I do want to add other staff were very nice helpful and polite.
friendly staff, very clean hotel, thought there would be a maid service but there wasn't, we wernt told beforehand we had to pay per night for parking, nice and close to the town. would stay there again.
