The worst hotel experience I have ever had. Between my arrival at 1930 and 2100 my door was knocked on three time by other residents. Another guest (from aboard) had a similar experience, he thought that people were trying to find him because he was the same nationality as the team that England were playing in the football that was televised in the bar.
At 2030 there was drilling from DIY/maintenance in another area of the hotel. At 2130 a man bashed at my door and accused me of filming his sister naked. Shortly afterwards I heard a fight (presumably he found the chap!) and another guest had to call the police. I spent the night wide awake with the door barricaded shut. Awful experience.
The room was clean and had nice, new carpet but had access panels to the heating system missing.
I have stayed in premises where the local authority houses vulnerable people before, but never had this experience, nor paid so much for a dosshouse.
Avoid.
