I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who is available 24/7, signed a formed, handed a key and shown where to go - up 3 flights of narrow stairs; don't stay here if you have mobility issues.
The room was good, an OK bed with nice white, clean linen, towels, an en-suite toilet and shower (more on this later), a TV, fan, wardrobe, tea and making facilities, some bottled water and even some fresh fruit. I think if they added a small fridge then the room would match the facilities of much more expensive hotel rooms.
Anyway, no complaints, until my morning shower. The water pressure was a bit disappointing until a pump suddenly kicked in half way through the shower. At the same time the shower temperature switched to only two settings, boiling hot or scolding hot. The temperature control seemed to broken and it was locked at the high setting. In the end I had to turn it off and use cold water from the sink to wash of the soap suds.
A real shame about the shower which spoiled an otherwise enjoyable stay. I did report the problem so hopefully your stay won't have the same issue.
