City Sleeper is the upgrade class of room at Royal National Hotel. The cleaners were great, and I appreciated that it was NOT one of those hotels that tries to persuade you to go without cleaning. THANKS!
Also, the breakfast was excellent. The fried eggs were much appreciated. Great expresso machines.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
Location is convenient, the room was in acceptable condition and bathroom was clean.
But the staff was unfriendly and quite off-putting in addition the room was cold with excessive draft from a bad window.
The worst was the street noise which the window did not help with, it sounding like we were sleeping on the sidewalk.
Check in was a very long and slow process.
Staff need training on being quick, polite!!!
It was the worst checkin process ever!!!

Terrible
I had the hotel booked by a friend who’d mistakenly booked the wrong date a day after my arrival. We asked the hotel if they could consider moving the booked wrong date to a later date or same day if there was availability but they declined both options. I had to pay for an additional date and lost the booked amount which I think is absolutely unfair. £400+ gone with only half of that used.
Superb stay, perfect location for sightseeing. Spotless room, fantastic staff and service. Buffet breakfast was hot and a fantastic selection too! Value for money is exceptional. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely return.
Check in was pretty slow but the hotel room was a good size and clean with a decent ensuite. Good value for a central London location especially during Christmas party season
Solo travelling, easy to find from Euston Station, several other hotels in the area, felt very safe. Friendly and helpful staff, extremely clean throughout. Room was clean, comfortable and well planned with lots of surfaces and storage. Great find.
Clean and quiet hotel staff very helpful
Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on food within hotel but London pub within complex well priced for both drink and food
Would stay there again
Great hotel, reasonably priced. Bedroom / bed very comfortable. Breakfast excellent.
Luggage storage process is chaotic, over 60 people waiting with huge suitcases in a corridor.
This property is in a great location. Russell Square subway is nearby and has the Piccadilly line which goes to airport. Most sites are not far. Lots of bus and subway routes to get a round.
Europe does not have flat sheets, also no air conditioning, twin beds room were small in size, overall hotel was clean, staff super nice, at night the area got sketchy just be aware of your surroundings
Check in was smooth and staff very friendly. This hotel is actually 2 hotels with interlinking corridors. Trying to find your room is a nightmare as the numbering system is completely random it seems. Signage on the floors is poor too. There were staff around on my floor to guide you to correct room. May be that’s the same on other floors. Room was clean but compact as was the bathroom. There wasn’t a lot of space should you wish to work and no desk chair to use at the small portable table. Room was quite cold but there is a radiator although it wasn’t that great at putting out heat. Would I stay here again? For the price probably not but, as I said, it was pleasant enough.
Staff were really helpful and hotel really handy. There were a couple of issues with the room, the radiator would not turn off.so very hot.The windows were only single glazed, so it was a little noisy.
