Superb location just off the High Street at Kensington. right opposite a taxi rank as well and a tube station. Large hotel with fabulous common parts but the rooms a little tired as you might expect in a London hotel. Dining room too crowded at breakfast and queuing inevitable.

Yes it’s a little tired…however, the staff were exceptionally accommodating. The hotel was clean and tidy, exactly what you need for a night in London. Within walking distance for the Royal Albert Hall (which was the purpose of our visit) - we will definitely be staying there for future RAH events

Very comfortable bed, both doubles and single. However, not soundproof rooms as suggested on the website. Fabulous view from 11th floor! However, booked a cab through the reception who said that it would come in between 5-15 minutes. We left on foot and hailed a cab ourselves 35 minutes later, from just around the corner! Wish we had been told about the cab rank. However, really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel situated conveniently in the middle of the city. Large and spacious with a grand entrance and nice decor. However, room was a little tired (we had a basic double room). Lovely bed/matress and pillows but the mini fridge hadnt been turned off and so made quite a lot of noise. Tv in the room was ok for picture quality but was an old TV with no modern amenities such as wifi connection/streming services and kept losing signal so we didnt bother trying. Also lights difficult to work out as switches were incorrectly labled e.g 'bed' light switch actually controlled bathrooom light. Bathroom was clean although the toilet could do with a bit more attention as had some limescale build up. Staff friendly but a little inattentive, we waited 20 mins to have a drink order taken and a further 10 mins to arrive to table in an empty restaurant, no water offered either. On check in also the receptionist only spoke to my husband and not me even though my name was on the reservation which i found a bit off-putting.

The entrance lobby and downstairs parts of the hotel were nice, clean and well decorated. The room was very dated with lots of marks and scuffs on the walls. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest with old mould marks in shower and bath. Service was good apart from a long delay at check in but that was to be expected. We didn’t eat or drink in the hotel so can’t comment on that.

I stayed for one night with a colleague and I called in advance to ask aboiut parking. I was told no porblem and that is was £29 for 24 hours. I arrived and paid but have now got a parking ticket and they wont respond

Outside appearance looks very dated. Lobby is better but the rooms are very dated and in need of freshening up. Check in was slow, not enough staff working. Room is basic and bathroom was very shabby. They all need a good freshen up. We didn’t eat in the hotel but went to the bar for drinks. Drink choice was good but service was poor. Nobody behind the bar and 3 people looked at us and still didn’t come to serve!
