Once wonderful hotel now tired.
Two single beds zipped together, does not make a king sized bed. I’m tall and rely on a true king sized bed to sleep at an angle. This was truly awful. The rooms were looking tatty ten years ago. They look very tatty now. And as for the “air refresher” unit. It isn’t aircon and is bloody noisy. The staff in the Resturant were inattentive. I had to go and ask for a menu. The food was unimpressive. Can see why the restaurant was empty. Quite honestly a Travelodge would have been more comfortable with better food! Oh, and a Travelodge would have given me free disabled parking unlike this place!!

The photos and look of the outside of the hotel did not do it justice, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the hotel and room was exceptionally clean, bed was large and comfy and the location was great, just a walk away from Kensington high st and great transport links. Highly recommend staying here, great value for money

We had booked a double bed but we’re given two singles pushed together leaving very little room to manoeuvre. The hotel was full so we were informed that a double was not available. The staff were very apologetic and gave us a free breakfast. The room had a strange odour but was clean. The shower however was terrible. The was no drain but had a suction pump mechanism which did not work resulting in a flooded bathroom.

Fantastic location not far from High St Ken tube station but quietly tucked away around the corner. Comfy rooms are perhaps a bit tired but fine overall. Only downside was the utterly insane pricing for food and drink in the lobby shop.

Excellent hotel in attractive area
I always enjoy staying in this hotel on my annual visits to London. The facilities are excellent and the quality of service excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel is quiet at night enabling a good night’s sleep. Breakfast is great. I don’t have a valid criticism of this hotel which is situated in a nice area of Kensington with great retail stores and restaurants nearby.

The staff were friendly & very helpful the reception area as was the restaurant/bar area very well maintained but alas our room was rather dated & in need of updating, the hotel was very clean.

Great budget conscious hotel in a fantastic location. It’s clean, comfortable, spacious (for London) everything you need for a good night sleep. But not a single thing more. Many airline cabin crew and pilots stay there, so there’s a baseline quality.

I never stayed there, i made an error when making booking and advised the booking agency withing the hour of me booking it as it was no refund possible. The booking agency tried to get the booking amended to the correct date knowing i was willing to pay extra for the correct date. The hotel refused and also refused to talk to me directly. I was supposed to take my daughter for a nice trip and because of this issue i had to cancel everything. This company has absolutely no customer service

The room that we had stayed in was very noisy because of the connecting door between our room and next room as we were able to hear the coughing and the talks of next room guests. Also the sound of the train was inside the room. Moreover the air conditioning was very old system and not cooling.. the pillows were very thin and not comfortable .. the bathroom was very old and not renewed.. the wall inside the bathroom was covered with decorated wooden plywood and not tiles ! The door can’t be closed as the door is bigger than the frame due to inflated by humidity!! We asked the receptionist to change the room and they did but again same problems as before and worse as they forgot to makeup the room for two days !!! Plus no telephone to call in the room !! We were waiting the sun to rise in order to leave the hotel forever.. we don’t decoy this hotel to anyone visiting London .. it was our worst experience in our worldwide travel …

Hotel was adequate overall with good size rooms - decor a bit dated and not good quality finish but all clean and comfortable. Couldn't find hotel to begin with - it should have directions on web site to state that the nesrest tube station is High Street Kensington and is only a few hundred yards away.

This hotel could be an affordable option for someone on a budget, but it is tired. There was a massive leak in the ceiling of my room, that started at 6am and dripped consistently onto the bed. I could see that a repair was attempted to the ceiling, but not the pipe itself and so it continued to drip once the new paint failed. The elevators were not functioning smoothly either. I saw one group of passengers get stuck and the other elevators were creaky and shuddery. I reported the ceiling leak at 6am, and the front desk were not interested. However, once the day shift came on, someone was ready to help immediately. I got a a new room for the second night, but it should not have happened the first night.
