property needs to be renovated. poor quality fitings stained carpets. shower leaking. I would say 3 star or less not 4 star. staff generally helpful and acknowledge rooms are not to quality standard, location good but no parking.

I wish there was a possibility to give half-stars in ratings because in this case all the issues I encountered were with the room itself, not with the actual running of the hotel.
Breakfast service was excellent and the options were varied, staff were friendly and helpful.
I had a single person room and do believe these require an upgrade - incredibly small bathrooms and the carpets look worse for wear, and while the room was generally clean I had quite a few bugs running around (and some dead) in the bathroom which did not give me the impression of it being very hygienic.
I believe there may be some issues with the plumbing as sometimes the toilet wouldn’t flush or I would turn the faucet off but the water would still run in a steady stream afterwards
Other than this my experience was okay, would not recommend for a particularly long stay though and I probably won’t return as I would want a more comfortable / recent room.

Good location
The location is conveniently located near the Lancaster Gate tube station. The rooms are tiny and old but they do the job. It smelled like mildew in the room but it was less noticeable when running the fan.
The executive double room was worth the money; nice spacious and clean with good facilities.
The breakfast the following morning was good enough.
A minor annoyance was the electricity tripping in our room, however the reception staff were very attentive and saw to it immediately.
Nothing positive about this hotel, except for the location. Felt like staying in a motel. The concierge was immediately rude to us and then continued to be rude when we came back to pick up our bags, the hallway was cramped and had water damage throughout the entire hallway, the room was dirty and dingy, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable with boxsprings pushing into our backs, and the walls were so thin we could hear people coughing from the room next door as if they were laying next to us. The tub did not drain fast enough when showering so you were standing in water over our ankles. We originally booked three nights and left after suffering just one. The hotel refused to reimburse us or work with us after not staying there for two of the nights.
Tried to contact hotel numerous times as our plans changed due to my partner becoming ill. No answer from hotel. I contacted Expedia who also tried on my behalf, they had the same response... no contact!
Why advertise a contact number for customers to call and then not bother to man the line!
