Quirky hotel located a nice walkable distance from Russell Square. Location is great but the condition is a little rough around the edges and cleanliness isn’t the best. The staff we experienced weren’t the friendliest, on arrival little communication or a welcome was given, was told to ‘sit there and fill the check in form out’ The breakfast was too poor, with very little options - we went to breakfast around 9am and only had the choice of brown toast, cheese & ham. Tea was also cold and there were no bowls available for cereal. If you can get one of the cheapest rooms say £50-60 then go for that option but don’t pay anymore than that.

The location was good But 1) No respect to COVID 19 government guidelines measurements regarding in this hotel. No one was wearing mask, a lot of people were gathering in the reception hall with no social distance and no hand wash was offered. 2) the room was very old with Few amenities. - the bed was good - the room temperature: was too hot - the carpet was ruggedly. - the fridge : not working - the safe: not working - the air conditioning: not working - No coffee or tea or drink or even empty Cups 3) The bathroom: - No paper toilet - low hot water pressure - no bathrobe as described 4) the staff were unhelpful and unprofessional 5) No VIP PERKS if you expect to receive ones. 6) this hotel is not 4 stars and should be reviewed. 7) Generally it is unpleasant place to stay and should be avoided.

First executive room I booked was dirty, stained headboards , dusty sideboard. We had a portable air con unit that the vent pipe didn’t reach out the window! The bathroom water would start then stop and start and stop again in the shower, basin and toilet. We moved to a downgraded room and had exactly the same problem. Tried having a shower but the water would start then stop and repeat. I’ve never experienced this in a 4 star London hotel!! We also had to ask for an iron and board, when this arrived it, the board was burnt and falling apart and the iron had exposed cables on the lead! There is a fridge in the room with nothing in it, not even a bottle of water and there are no tea making facilities. We couldn’t even pour a glass of water in the bathroom as the water would shoot out of the taps and explode everywhere!! The second room also didn’t have a working air con unit so it was a very hot and humid nights sleep! Very disappointing hotel.

Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich, jeder Aufwand war zuviel, der Gast hat nicht erste Priorität,ist eher ein Stressfaktor Die Matrazen,der Boden,die Vorhänge, waren fleckig und aus dem Lavabo kammen Ameisen. Wir waren 5 Tage da und es wurden nur 2 mal die Betten gemacht und der Müll entfernt, es gab keine Frischen Handtücher oder Wc- Papier. Es fehlten Dinge wie ein Haartrockner,Zahnpastabecher,Wasserkocher,Wc-bürste,Gläser etc... das zu einem Hotelzimmer gehört.Im Badezimmer hatte es schimmel und Kalkflecken. Auf das Frühstück haben wir ganz verzichtet da die Hygiene nirgends gegeben ist. Aus den Steckdosen sprühten funken. Das Geld war es leider nicht Wert und ich verstehe nicht wie man so ein Hotel führen kann. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel nicht weiter.

Great location, but the hotel was a abomination. Everything was dirty, the place was worn down. No cleaning, nor service from the staff. Can only recommend, if you want Eternal daughter experience.

Madame, Monsieur, Je fais rarement un commentaire sur un hôtel ou une chambre. Je fais confiance à vos photos. Malheureusement cette fois elles étaient clairement trompeuse. Moquettes tachées, usée et déchiré, rideaux également déchiré et tachés d'eau de pluie, poussière partout. Aucune prestation comme un sèche cheveux, peignoirs, pas de savon pour la douche, uniquement deux minuscules shampoing, le pommeau de douche rempli de calcaire depuis un bon moment, pas de minibar. Pour ce qui est du petit déjeuner du pain de mie avec un peu de beurre emballé dans un film plastique ou il faut être contorsionniste pour y accéder. Un misérable morceaux de jambon même pas au frais poser sur le bord d'une table basse. Nous avons changer de chambre par 2 fois. Et 2 fois c'était la même choses. La poussière et le niveau d'hygiène douteux était la norme. J'ai discuté avec des personnes de l'hôtel pour leurs demander s'ils étaient satisfait de leur séjours, les deux m'ont dit que c'était une horreurs et qu'ils ne reviendaient plus. Une des dame m'as avouer que quand il pleuvait de l'eau s'infiltrait par la fenêtre. Nous avons eu une chambre au 3ème étages et l'ascenseur était en panne. Nous avons décidé de partir après une seule nuit pour aller au Novotel London Waterloo. Les photos que vous avez mis sur le site ont toutes été retouchée par ordinateur parce que ce n'est pas du tout comme ça que l'ont constate l'état des lieux. La propreté laisse à désirer. Nous avons dû demander à changer de chambre en arrivant. Le matelas datait, était brun et était déchiré. La vitre de la salle de douche avait des moisissures. Heureusement nous avons pu changer de chambre.
