Comfortable apartment with all the amenities you need. Two warnings though, there is no lift and it’s on the 4th floor so be ready to haul your bags up yourself and hike up after walking all day. The second is the neighborhood is very noisy and passersby love to ring the doorbell at all hours as a prank. The beds need updating and the pillows are super thin, felt like a folded sheet in a pillow case. The neighborhood is amazing! close to two of the tube stations, a few blocks away from Piccadilly Circus shopping, one block from Chinatown with great restaurants, lots of theaters to see plays and pubs to enjoy when the play lets out right on the same block. We’d definitely stay here again especially of the bed and pillow situation was improved.

The good- this apartment is centrally located. It is very close to theaters and many attractions. The kitchen and bathroom is nice. The bad- it is on a major thoroughfare, in a busy area. Unless you are ok staying up until 4:00am, you may have trouble sleeping. The noise is incredible. While we were there, aside from the normal people, emergency vehicle, vehicle noise, there was the really disruptive extra, extra loud motorcycles going by over and over late at night. I realize this isn’t something the management of the apartment can control. And they do have good storm windows. But, if you are considering staying here, you should be aware of how noisy it is. I couldn’t get to sleep until things finally quieted down between 3-4 am. Also, the apartment was very hot. It was in the 70s outside when we were there. We would open the windows all day until we were trying to sleep, and turn fans on, but we couldn’t cool the apartment below around 78 degrees. The windows only open a few inches. Finally, it wasn’t very clean- blinds are covered with dust, corners are dirty, there are visible spills on cushions, the pillows are worn out/flat, and we ran out of toilet paper after only three days!

Super central apartment
We enjoyed our stay right in the heart of the city at the Shaftesbury Ave apartment. Although we could hear a lot off street noise we realised this was to be expected in such a busy part of London. Some of the blinds in the lounge/kitchen area need to be fixed as we were unable to raise or lower them but overall the facilities were excellent.

Logement très bien placé et facile d’accès. Propre et bien équipé. Manque juste de quelques petites choses comme par exemple une éponge ou de papier toilette. Point d’attention également sur les tabourets, l’un d’eux ne baisse et ne monte plus. Sinon mise à part ça, le cadre de l’appartement est idéal et l’emplacement difficilement mieux… Je recommande totalement

Great location in the heart of London. Easy to get to, 2nd floor apartment in a nice old house, apartment nicely renovated and well equipped. Bus station in front of the door. Unfortunately high noise level from the street until early in the morning. Culture and restaurants in close proximity. Highly recommended.

Small, well equipped, AMAZING location
The location I as good as it gets in London, smack dab in the middle of it all. The streetcan get a bit noisy And the view is amazing. We took the underground from the airport without any changes and ended up just a stone's throw away. Clean and well equipped with plenty of wardrobe space and the bathroom looked brand new. But beware, there is no elevator and the floor space is limited. The pictures make it look bigger than it is, in reality it is just big enough to fit everything with no space left over. There is no front desk. Instead the check in is handled through an internet portal. You get codes that opens the locks to the building and the apartment. Don't use the space at the bottom of the stairs to store your stroller. We did, and when we came down again someone had set it out with the trash on the curb. After that we carried it up to the apartment every time, a cumbersome task in the narrow staircase.
