Air conditioning unit started leaking at 2.30 in the morning. Water dripping very quickly onto floor. We were worried a tap had been left on above us. Although it was coming from the air con unit. However after going to inform the front desk where no one apologised to us they said this happens with the units sometimes. They offered us to move room but as we were getting up in two hours we decided to stay put and put a bucket with towels in to prevent noise. In the morning the staff once again just said the reservation team will be in touch and failed to apologise for the incident. The rooms are just small and dated.

It's unfortunate that the hoppla hotel bus only travels once an hour. It was terribly crowded and a taxi cost so much more for a surprisingly short trip. There was no phone in the room, making a wakeup call impossible. Only with the TV.

The room was what you needed. Comfy bed and shower. Service at the bar was pretty slow. Was shocked that a large twix was £4.25. Evening meal was good. Breakfast buffet I have had a lot better.

I liked the lively vibe of the place. I didn’t like the dirty carpets. The price was reasonable. I found it very helpful to get an email telling me various specific ways to get to the hotel from Heathrow Airport.

Check in wasn’t awful. Probably the best thing about the place. Unfortunately had a few issues. First I got a key to a room where someone already was. Then someone came in my room. Then the key cards wouldn’t work twice. So had to go back and to the front desk a lot more then I had planned.
