Friendly, cheerful hotel.
A nice basic hotel, very convenient for Paddington station. My return train was cancelled so they were able to let me stay for an extra night. Staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are a bit tired, but I slept well and it was quiet for a central London hotel. Much better than others I have stayed in nearby; I shall be back.

A tired and uncomfortable hotel
This is one of those London hotels that seems to survive solely because of its location. The property is quite run-down, creaky, and badly in need of renovation. The walls are so thin that I could hear everything from the guest in the neighboring room, including constant coughing and loud phone conversations. As a result, I barely got any sleep. I politely asked the front desk if it was possible to move to another room, but they told me they were fully booked and unable to accommodate my request. However, I noticed that rooms were still available to book online, which made me feel as though I was being dismissed. Overall, it was an uncomfortable and unpleasant stay, and I will not be returning. If you’re desperate to stay near Paddington, this hotel might be worth considering, but for me, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in London—and I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels over the past five years.

Friendly hotel
This hotel is an older family establishment. The rooms could use updating, but are clean. Shower temp a little hard to control. The breakfast room is pleasant and breakfast choices, while limited, are excellent. Breakfast is included and you are able to order more than one thing and customize to a degree. The staff made the stay very pleasant. They were helpful and so friendly. The location is a short walk to Paddington station, Hyde Park, and several good restaurants. We especially liked The Stablehand restaurant which exceeded expectations on each visit (3)! I would stay here again. Also, there is ample off street parking if needed. Hope to see them soon again.

We found an underwear on the bathroom the first day we got there ...... the room wasn't clean very well.... we use a cups and they never taken them away in 5 days......

Good location a few blocks off Hyde Park. Easy transportation options or walkable if you like to walk. Rooms basic, a little small but clean. Good English breakfast included if you can get up early enough as it stops by 9 am.

Fabulous location. Friendly staff. Short walk to Paddington Station. Lots of good food options all around. Property is a little dated but clean and everything works. The free English breakfast was generous and tasty. Only reason we gave a 4 was that the rooms, and the bathroom, were a little small and even with just 2 people, there wasn't space to move around.

Decent cheap accommodation
The stay was for 6 nights. Quiet area close to transit, restaurants and pubs. Typical Paddington area accommodation in this price range. Very small rooms, decent breakfast and very friendly staff. If you like to lounge around your room then this isn't for you. If you want a decent and clean little room for a great price that you use at the end of the day to sleep....book it.

Those hotel so run down. Carpets everything is old and shabby. The evening staff wonderful. There seems to be one mai. Person in charge. She’s very abrasive def would not recommend this hotel. Rare that I have this kind of experience.

Good choice. The only problem was a heating issue that was quickly fixed. Room was small, as in most British hotels, but very clean and comfortable. Very good English breakfast every morning.

Can't bring food to your room.
The hotel was convenient near Paddington Station. The only disappointments were that you can't bring food to your room and mice were present. I guess that is why you can't bring in food.
