Some really positive features and some not so good. Hotel is located in a great area, lots of local amenities and close to several tube stations including Paddington. There is a lounge area and a bar, which are appreciated. Room - bed was reasonably comfy. TV included BT sports which is a nice bonus. Wall of the toilet was thin and the windows, although frosted, to the toilet and bathroom did not have blinds. Breakfast - cooked breakfast was a good quality and there are several options but only cornflakes for cereal. For the price, it wasn't bad, but also not outstanding. Haven't ruled out going back but also not an immediate choice next time we go to London.

Great value hotel about 5 minutes from Paddington Station. Friendly and welcoming. Tiny rooms and bathrooms but had all required amenities. Good breakfast included. Would definitely stay again when visiting London.

All the staff were amazing, very friendly for a chat or to give you some advise on what to do and see around the area. Onsite parking was convenient and only a 5 minute walk to Paddington station. Will certainly stay again if we come back to London. A very pleasant stay!

Mitre House Hotel is very convenient to Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate for the central tube line. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the breakfast had good choices. The decor and shower reminded me of when I first visited England in the 1980s so the shower was rather disappointing after a long-haul flight. But I would stay again given the general standard of accommodation for high prices in the area.

Quick Capital city experience.
A lovely, clean room just where we needed to be based. The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. No problem looking after bags both on arrival and departure so we didn’t have to lug them around. Staff were so pleasant and offered use on facilities when collecting bags - Excellent experience.

Despite being a small and somewhat older establishment, the Mitre House Hotel was quite comfortable. Once I got used to the layout of the area, it was also convenient for getting around the city. It was a very short walk from Paddington station and from a bus that took you right to the center of the city. I found the staff to be very friendly and quite helpful In total, it was a reasonably priced place to stay in London and I would certainly stay there again.

Cozy family owned hotel. Very simple and traditional style but super clean and friendly. The streets are quiet and beautiful despite the fact that this is a central location and so close to the tube with several lines including Elizabeth and the Heathrow express. Breakfast was simple but good with several options to choose from and a friendly staff. Will stay here again.
