Great location nothing hills very quiet area. Staff very professional so clean. Very quit I can sleep like a baby. I will recommend this hotel to anyone.
The room I stayed in was comfortable but quite small. The bathroom was a tight squeeze for me (at 5 foot), so be aware of this if you are tall or somewhat heavy. On the plus side, the breakfast was part of the room price, so no need to head out early to find something to eat. The location is less than a 5 minute walk from a variety of restaurants and food shops. And there are 2 tube stations and a bus line less than 10 minutes away.

Location was great for restaurants, shopping and Bayswater underground.
Hotel is pretty tired looking. There is a bar onsite but it wasn’t open the few times we wanted a drink.
Bed was very uncomfortable and the room was very cramped. Looked nothing like the photos on the website.
I really like this hotel. It's well situated, on street parking is free after 6:30 pm.
Staff have always been friendly and helpful.
The rooms I've had recently are comically small and I'm a big chap but I can't complain I always sleep well
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel was nice

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
I've never seen a bathroom that small. I could sit on the toilet with both shoulders touching the walls beside me. I was in room 114, and the bathroom was smaller than the shower in other hotels. My shower was so small i could barely wash my legs and feet. I'm 6'5'' and the bathroom door is about 6'2''. Watch your head! The bed was smaller than a twin in the US. But the breakfast was edible and the deli meats made it better. The Phoenix is near the Bayswater tube station in a good area near Notting Hill. I got a good deal, so i can't complain too much, but that room was way too small. My friend stayed in a different room with a slightly bigger bathroom. I would consider staying there again, but never in room 114.
The property was very good other than the room was hot and there was no air conditioning. We had fans and 2 coolers that helped a little. It was very clean and well maintained. The area around the hotel was very safe and close to the underground. We would go back just maybe during cooler weather
We had a room with 4 twin beds on fourth floor and still had ample room to move around. Room was clean and the only thing that could have made it better was a mattress pad for the twin mattress as they were squeaky and firm. Breakfast was continental and not anything to rant about.
Our stay was great. Convenient location. My only issue was there is no air conditioning. Luckily the 3 nights we stayed the temperatures were only high's in the 70's.
In a quiet but great location, the Phoenix Hotel offers comfort at an affordable price. The single bedroom, although small was great for a couple of nights. The continental breakfast was very good. The staff were outstanding in their manner and care towards their guests different needs.
Nice little hotel. Room was small but ideal for a solo traveler, and appeared to have been recently remodeled. Quiet neighborhood with shops and food within a couple blocks’ walk.
Really enjoyed my stay at the Phoenix Hotel. It was clean, quiet, in an excellent location and breakfast was great. The shower was strong and hot. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room were also good. I was on my own and the room and bathroom were ample for me. Had I stayed with my partner, I would have found the room and bathroom a little cosy.
