This place is a must! Clean, safe, staff amazing! Also the location to Paddington station is great. 5 mins. Tons of restaurants around if you want anything to eat in or take out.

Place is so convenient and close to the train and bus station. Safe and nice area. So many restaurants and fast food options in this area. Small room but we’re out most of the time. Hot shower water is really good. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only problem is that the hotel doesn’t have a lift. So if you are having knee problems or traveling with older people request the lower floors. And it’s very very close to Paddington Station.

Lovely stay in a beautiful area of London. The location is amazing, only a step away from the station with key tube lines. Some great cafe and restaurants around as well. Would highly recommend this hotel for any stay in London !!!

Cozy and Convenient
St. David hotel is very quaint, offering a very quality experience at a good price. It's a 2min walk to Paddington Station and I also found it easy to catch a black cab at the Hilton next to the station. Very quiet and safe area. I will always choose this over paying more to stay in the chaos of central London. St. David is not a good place for families and young children. Perfect for solo travelers, travelers with a friend (two twin beds were perfect for us) and for couples.

For the price it is great. Beware no elevator or phone in room. No ac. Wifi good. TV good. People great. Noise vibration from tube feels very historic to me. The noise seemed to stop late night or I just got used to it. The big bus tour stops 30 feet away from the door. Lots of restaurants near. Mcdonald's Tube stop near. Highlight is there is a sparklingly water tap you can fill water bottle for free. I would stay again for the price. Bed firm. Super high ceilings.it seems to be one of those homes that is turned into a hotel. 2 USB in room. You may hear neighbors open their doors. But nothing more

I liked the area it was super close to paddington station, I didn’t like the carpets they were pretty dirty looking also the lock on the bathroom door didn’t open smoothly

Beyond impressed with this hotel. Super clean, and my room shower had constant water pressure and hot water with no issues. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Plus, Paddington Railway station and the tube is only a 3 min walk from the hotel. There are so many amenities around the hotel, nothing to worry about.

I did not like the staff worker (an older man) who for no good reason asked to see my room keys as if I ‘DIDN’T’ belong there. His reasoning, (which I do understand is a proper protocol but he absolutely abused this protocol) was that he needs to make sure that everyone in the hotel is a guest. I am from America, and land of the brave and the home of the free where we do not need to constantly ‘prove’ ourselves in any given moment. As a hotel guest, I’ve already paid for my room and I should be able to room around the hotel and look at their maps, points of interests, and their hotel lobby without this attitude from this hotel staff. Yes I understand that there is a ‘safety’ concern but the hotel needs to come up with a different solution. A solution that does not take the freedom, peace, and tranquility from their guests. I’ve already paid to stay their and I do not want to have to ‘prove’ that I am a guest their out of whim just whenever a staff worker (this older man) ‘decides’ to ask for my room key. This protocol is a way to discriminate and I DO NOT LIKE THIS.
