The hotel is in a great location. Staff are polite and helpful. Could do with a revamp. Looking a little tired in some areas. Booked a classic double 269sq ft with Queen bed for a birthday weekend. On arrival was asked if we wanted to pay £80 extra for an upgrade. No free upgrade We declined and got our room. We were given a small room 129sq ft with double bed. Told reception. They said that’s what we booked until I showed them on the website. They changed the room but it was still a double bed not queen. Check what you book on arrival as it differs from their own website. Cleaners have no regard for guests trying to sleep. We had an hour and a half to rest before getting ready to go out and the cleaners kept slamming the doors constantly. No joke about 2 times every 5 minutes. Only till we opened the door and had a moan did they stop. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Our first visit to The Bailey certainly won’t be the last. The facilities were superb, a short walk from the Tube, and staff were consistently gracious and helpful. The bar is a real treasure for afternoon and evening gatherings.

Everything was perfect except bed. Bed is too small. But location of hotel is perfect, staff is very nice and helpful. Hotel is very clean and bathroom is very comfortable.

Not good value for money
The reception people very nice and friendly. The room was advertised as 12 square meter but it's smaller than that and feels like a prison cell. Parts of the bed frame were chipped and it was difficult sleeping as there was loud noise from outside . Breakfast was ok, although missing vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers. There was no option to have omelettes, and some of the 'hot' food was actually cold. Not sure how this is 4 star as 3 star probably would more appropriate
