This was our fust stay at this hotel and at furst appearance i was a little unsure. The staff were incredibly friendly, even showing us to our room. This is where i had that nagging doubt. The room was small with a small double bed against one wall, and a small on suite bathroom.
I told myself, its only a base amd that we were here to visit London and not sit around in the room.
Once we had spent the evening at our event and came back, i suddenly saw how charming it was.
Breskfast was a continental style with plenty of croissants, pan o chocolate and a large pot of baked beans along with the usual bread, jams and butter. The dinning area was quite small including the serving area which of course was self service.
But again, it still had a certain charm about it.
There was a part of the dining area where there was a section of wall which had been removed which detracted from the charm.
In all, the hotel is definitely within walking distances from places like the London eye and The Shard is visible and probably the same distance away as the Eye.
All in all, pleasant stay and knowing now how close we were to the city, avoiding the use of the subway, we will certainly consider staying here again.
