Incredible property just a few minutes from the Tower Bridge. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the rooms are well stocked & clean - and even have a warmed toilet seat & bathroom floors. I mentioned it was my birthday, and they had the most delicious (big) chocolate cake ready for me in the room and a beautiful hand written card. I can't wait to stay there again soon, and I highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel!

Great place to stay, will stay again.
The building is beautiful along with the interior. Breakfast was delicious, we had the indian breakfast to try an alternative to the usual. We booked a senior classroom, it was very spacious. Room number 305 has a perfectview of the Shard. 2 mins walk takes you to the tower bridge.

A diamond in the rough
Amidst the hustle and bustle of London Bridge is a gem of a boutique hotel, The Lalit. The old school has been transformed into fabulous high ceilinged bedrooms and a must see dining room: the restoration has done this building proud. On a boiling hot and sticky day in London the accommodation provided an oasis of calm, noise free and air conditioned. I loved it.

Wonderful property! The hotel is located in an old grammar school. We loved the location of the hotel as it was near the tower bridge and tower of London. It was also less than a 10 minute walk to the London bridge station which allows easy access to everywhere in London we wanted to go. The hotel offers air conditioning which was a must in August. Would highly recommend a stay.

Amazing location, nice large room, the bathroom was good, it had a warm seated bidet toilet 😆. All the snacks and drinks in the room were complementary. We didn't opt for breakfast as Borough Market is nearby. The downside were that we thought the initial entrance is not really boutique 5 star, the checking in staff we're nice and professional but found a staff member not really welcoming on a couple of occasions, may sound petty but if you're paying 5 star prices I would expect a smile at least.
