Rooms had every need, nothing to complain about. Staff attentive and over the top. Location was convenient and safe. A wonderful step back in time of an elegant era preserved. The Savoy Restaurant for breakfast do not be afraid to ask for food to be prepared to your order. If it is it will be amazing. Staff is wonderful thank you for the chocolate and strawberries sent to our room. They sincerely want to make it right. However, the Gordon Ramsey Restaurants were not up to Savoy standards. The steak was beautiful piece of meat basted in a sugary syrup sauce that did not compliment the beef. The salad dressing was overpowering on mustard and not balanced. The duck pate had a sweetness added that deflected and destroyed the dish. The cream spinach was watery and not seasoned. However the service was great but we missed out an anticipated great meal and sent back to kitchen. Gordon Ramsey’s recipes get a two because the bread was good and staff gets a 10. But they refused to charge for the meal. Ramsey taste your own recipes, not good. Savoy you were the best and we hope to return soon.

An awesome experience
This hotel was amazing from the time we checked in until the time we checked out. Everyone was pleasant and helpful and we felt very pampered throughout our entire stay. The two restaurants were great, we even went to afternoon tea. The attention to detail and service is bar none.

The Savoy actually exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is of course beautiful, classic and luxurious. The service however is impeccable, from housekeeping anticipating your every need, to the bell services and concierge. Every experience was exceptional. I don't hand out reviews of this caliber very often. In fact, Ever. I have traveled extensively and few Hotels have ever exceeded my expectations to this degree. I also have to mention the restaurants. All 3 restaurants here are by Chef Gordon Ramsey. I expected another celebrity chef named restaurant with mediocre food and service. I was WRONG. The food was amazing! The service, the presentation, the wine, the entire dining experience, every time, was extraordinary. From the Fish and chips to the Beef Wellington. I understand from one of the wait staff that he is actually onsite quite often to make sure everything is up to his standards. I applaud him for that. He truly knows his skill and his customer and gets it right. Many restauranteurs could learn a thing or two from this experience. I will never stay at another Hotel in London. It will always be The Savoy for us.
