The Tower hotel has a great location. The rooms were dated. The staff was attentive but were lacking warmth. This was a good hotel for our first quick visit to London.

The Tower Hotel’s best feature is the location. It right on the Thames River looking at the Tower Bridge, next to The Tower of London. Close to the tube. The rooms in the hotel could use some updating. Shower blasted cold and hot water randomly during shower. Our room was extremely musty smelling and thermostat did not work. We had great weather and it started to get warm and so our room got very warm and stuffy. The restaurant staff were very nice but seemed to struggle when busy. There is no “to-go” food and the room service takes very long. Need to downstairs to ask for ice or order food. The food is over priced and so-so. The outside bar with the view gets busy but is only open for a couple of hours a day. Closes at 8pm.

the rooms were very dated. also it took us about 5 minutes of walking to get to our room from the entrance of the hotel. elevators also took a long time, especially during morning breakfast hours.

Crap 1st night, down graded as room booked was not available on arrival, no apologies had to accept what they had, upgraded room was worse than a standard room which we ended in. Booked for surprise 2days away had to change room’s twice waisted hours sorting without any sorry or conclusive for there mess up, did have a whisper that our room was given to someone who booked in earlier. Bad management and still waiting back for an outcome, spoken to few mangers at hotel who came back with the same script which was less than the 1st room we paid for then ended up sleeping in. Crap as I paid and booked 6 weeks before arrival as a surprise birthday room for 2 days we didn’t have.

The Hotel was clean the staff was wonderful! The Hotel is at the base of the most beautiful bridge in London. It could use some upgrades but nothing major!! We would stay there again.

Central location, amazing view from the hotel room, within walking distance to dining, shopping, sight seeing, and convenience store. Comfortable beds and 24/7 snack shop in lobby. Also, there is, in fact, a lift despite what was in the fine print!

Long slow check in
Queue was long for check in. Each check in was taking over 5 minutes, there is no need for that. Some check ins were taking over 10 minutes. The hotel is starting to look very tired

The location is great! Tesco's was conveniently located close and came in handy. Loved the outside bar/eating area and lovely views of the Tower Bridge. I was expecting the rooms to be more updated. The rooms are quite small and our air conditioner did not work (travelled in July). The gym was very small with limited equipment. Next time I visit London, I might try a different hotel.
