For a hotel in Central London the service from the time at check in, no assistance at all, not even help with luggage. Staff at front desk were more interested with themselves & having their own personal chats. The first night room was to be 40% discounted, please confirm this. The 40% discount was authorized by Amal at reception. The next day we were moved to a better roomier room. The soaps & shampoo bottles were half used & only one bath towel in the family room. The Hotel is run like a third grade dormitory & certainly will not recommend, we left a day earlier. Hotel.com should not list this hotel
We did not stay at the Thistle.. our room was not available upon arrival…so we were sent to the Cumberland Hotel next door….

Not a good choice for me and my family. We did not even stay the night. The room and hallway smelled, the ac did not work and the toilet was clogged. Amenities? None.
This hotel was a convenient location for Hyde Park London. The room was all that was needed. The bed was very soft and against the wall so not very elegant when exciting in the night! Bathroom was clean and had essentials. All hairdryer, fridge and iron.
I don’t usually stay this central when in Iondon but had an event nearby.
Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff were wonderful and have a great welcome and I was very comfortable in the room and hotel overall.
Will stay again soon for sure.

The non smoking room had a terrible smell of smoking. Not impressed
