If you're a solo traveller looking for a place to stay close to a major train station, this will do for a night or two!
The staff was great, very helpful and always at the front desk. there was an everyday house keeping that cleaned the room. and overall we recived a clean room. great place near King's Cross station. recomending to visit.
My rooms was small. It was a single some so perfect for one. Didn’t the bathroom door as would keep shutting and being it’s really tiny I rather the door be open. Not like any one else will see me in a single room. Had a tv didn’t use it so can’t say if any good. Had coffee/tea would say the kettle needs replacing lead has split and didn’t work very well. Room was tidy. The main corridors carpets really need a deep clean or better still be replaced as dirty. For the price of my room and being the city it was a good price
Nice enough but feels unloved, dated and old. Location ok local pub The Dolphin potentially far right breeding ground felt both safer and more threatening when the police (5) arrived unannounced
My stay at The Wardonia Hotel was perfect. I was only there for one evening. It was comfortable and clean and I had a good sleep. A great location, very central to most London attractions.

No luxury here! Functional 2 star
Check in quick and room ready early. Room was in the basement. The stairs are deadly
The room hac a weird step in it which is not highlighted and pretty dangerous. The bathroom was tiny and although clean It was grim. The room smelt damp. The heating was not on and was chilly when we came back at night. The beds were small singles and they were comfy so were the pillows. The room was dated, tired but very clean. It was 5 mins from King’s Cross st pancreas. Probably wouldn’t stay again.
I put on my booking for an ground floor room due to have an leg disability. I was givenna room onnthe 2nd floor and which had very little room to go up or down and nothing to hold on to either.
Clean, three-minute walk to King's Cross Underground/St. Pancras, efficient use of bathroom space-all that one needs in a 1×3 meter space. Well-priced and worked well for one night. Note there is no in-room workspace in the room in which I was assigned. Also check windows, the room I was assigned had its window open upon arrival.
This is a no-thrills, slightly shabby (but perfectly serviceable, and better than most other hotels in the area, which typically have a bit of a poor reputation) hotel located a stone's throw away from King's Cross/St Pancras. I was only in London for one night so this was ideal, just somewhere to rest and freshen up. It's basic, but the price wasn't bad considering the location. Staff were friendly and I had no major problems.
