What a terrible experience - there was a problem with an extremely loud noise coming from air in the heating system pipes. They couldn’t fix it, pretended no other rooms were available and refused to give a refund as I had to leave and book a new hotel so I could sleep. Ebookers were unhelpful with the situation

We arrived at the hotel in 33C degree heat, after a 10 minute walk from the tube station. In spite of the shabby exterior and location, we were relieved to find an air conditioned lobby. Our delight changed to horror when we learned that the lobby was the only location with aircon, and our tiny room closely resembled an oven. It was only possible to sit in it by taking off all our clothes. Since the room is overlooked by at least 50 other windows, the curtains had to stay closed, adding to the stifling heat inside, The tap marked blue was hot; the tap marked red was (eventually) cool-ish. Breakfast was the least appetising we have ever seen, consisting of sliced bread, bran flakes and jam. Directions to the hotel were misleading. It's much much further from the tube than they suggest. At these prices we expected a bit more than a budget hotel, but in fact we've seen far better budget hotels than this. Save your money, go elsewhere.

The one bedroom room was tiny, like just bed and toilet, that's it. Windows on 3 sides, single glazed, and the room so tiny, so the bed is next to windows, so I could feel the breeze on my face while sleeping! So it was really cold at night in May, gladly there was an extra heater that I used, but still was a bit like sleeping in a tent feeling. (don't know how hot it is going to be during summer as there was no aircondition in my room). I could also hear every sound from the street, but luckily it was a quiet street so I could go to bed after 11pm. But this was one of the cheapest hotels that I could find, so I was prepared this is not a fancy one. The location was great tho! Nice neighborhood and tube stations close. So if you looking for only a place to sleep with low budget this could be suitable.

L’hôtel est un peu viellot mais propre. L’accueil a été correct, l’emplacement est assez chouette. Le rapport qualité prix est bon je trouve.
