This property has been around for years and in it’s golden days was actually a very nice gem with large clean rooms, an amazing restaurant and a unique lobby and ambiance compared to anything you would find in the valley. However, from what I was told, Covid really had a negative impact on this business and the hotel is only a memory of what it was. The property is now very outdated, with many amenities needing to be updated. The current major pain point for most guest right now, including myself, was the lack of of a restaurant, bar, or room service options for food, as all their food services have now closed down. There is a vending machine though, which sometimes works. The staff does leave out coffee and muffins in the lobby for all guest early in morning until 10am. What this hotel currently lacks in amenities and food/beverage facilities it does make up in its customer service though. The hotel staff at the front desk were very courteous and professional, making you feel welcome from the moment you check-in. On a positive note though, the hotel plans to go under some major renovations for the upcoming Olympics/World Cup, which will certainly make this property a must stay, again!

We booked this hotel for my daughters pre-wedding space to get dressed and have hair and make up done since it was near the wedding venue. When i arrived to check in it was late, there were a lot of seedy looking individuals hanging around in lobby just staring. The desk person was actually very nice as he told me jacuzzi wasn't working, and no restaurant on site since covid although online they clearly state there are restaurants available. My room hadn't been cleaned and i figured that out because the soap in shower was opened, wet , used and clumped together...that was gross. It only got worse when i saw what looked like a huge bed bug or roach on the dresser . That actually never happened before in my life! When i tried to turn on heater ,only cold air blew . I reported these things and again the front desk guy was helpful and said he would have someone check the heat/air conditioner and spray the room but come on...why wasn't i offered another room immediately? Why such deplorable conditions in the first place. This hotel is not cheap , in fact in the area it was one of the more pricey ones in this rating category so i expected more and definitely cant recommend and will never ever stay there again. It was too dirty and overall i felt very unsafe.

What a shame
Nice hotel. Backs onto the Van Nuys airport. There is no restaurant, no bar as advertised. Hot tub was out of service my entire 11 days There. Its a shame. This place has great potential.

PLEASE READ!! Staff was awesome, but it’s definitely an older property. There were roaches in the room and horrible smell of cigarettes. No fridge or microwave in room and the Starbucks inside the hotel is not in business. When I booked it was due to it being “kid friendly” and it’s NOT. Breakfast included means coffee, muffins and danishes. Considering we were there with the kids, this is not a good meal. Parking was also very limited. Neighborhood is sketchy. Wouldn’t stay here again.
