Happy overnight stay for cruise holiday

The airport shuttle is efficient , we’ve a welcome with warm cookie. Room is spacious, bath tub drainage a bit problem, the restaurant is nice and we have a Happy Hour delicious meal. The waitress is friendly and hardworking.

My stay at the hotel was really nice and peaceful. The area was extremely safe with good dining options nearby. The hotel also operates shuttle to the LAX airport which is very convenient.

The shower I had was horrible. The shower head was very old with poor spray, and the handles were awkward levers (really?). And why the bathtub and not a walk-in shower. Very disappointed.

I reserved my hotel via hotels.com when I checked in to the hotel, they charge me for another room saying that hotel.com electronic payment was declined and they still charge me extra for the hotel room even though I already paid hotels.com. Call the double tree and hotels.com four times and have never received my $147 back. so now hotels.com took my money that I originally reserved the hotels for and the Doubletree took an extra $147 for the same reservation.

Nice hotel with a spacious rooms but if you are looking for a place to eat nearby, there is not much available. The free cookie that you get when you check in is delicious! Close to the airport as well with free shuttle.
