The rooms were fairly modern and clean. Everything worked. The 60 dollar cash deposit for the room was odd. They called it a smoking deposit which is refunded upon key return. I really wish Expedia would mention this when one is booking their stay.

Clean rooms. The only thing was that you need to pay a $60 deposit cash only for some reason they can’t charge it to your credit card. So bring cash or you’ll have to pay a $3.50 processing fee at their ATM.

Our room was clean, renovated, thoughtfully arranged, bug- free, and had an updated bright bathroom. For a budget motel, our stay exceeded expectations. The motel had working ice machines, free parking, was centrally located, and had a helpful, friendly, front desk. Despite the aging exterior , the room had plenty of outlets, usb ports, decent TV , bigger sized mini fridge and an AC unit that did not disappoint. Unfortunately , the surrounding area has a disproportionate amt of homeless, loads of discarded trash, street side tents, actively using addicts, and pan handlers most of whom stay/ hangout at the local budget motels. There were a few guests arguing and on the verge of fist fighting in the parking lot but they took their dispute across the street The pool did not appear swimable and I wouldn’t consider this motel as family friendly. It was fine for our one night stay and once inside the room, all was better than expected.

I like the easy parking but i just had hip surgery and was told they did not have any rooms available on the lower level. Needless to say i had to struggle the flight of stairs. The guy at the front desk was not to friendly either. I smiledupon approaching the desk. But got nothing in return.
