Bed bugs needs to be addressed- unacceptable
Room on 12th floor had bed bugs. I went to bed late around 2 am after finishing work on the desk and had to change room late night. Night staff was helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed my excellent stay at Hotel Figueroa. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. The area around the hotel is a bit dodgey but location on S Figueroa Street is good. All staff at the hotel that I came across were friendly, attentive and professional. I would specifically like to mention Nicole (reception) and Stephanie in the downstairs restaurant/cafe for their outstanding service. I would definitely stay here again.

It was very hot!
The lobby was extremely hot and so was the restaurant. My spouse asked one of the servers if the air conditioner was working because it was hot and he replied, Well, it's hot everywhere, even outside." I thought that was completely unnecessary. No one could even tell us if the lobby/restaurant had a working air conditioner.

Hotel is beautiful. Lots of art and updated features. We did have a problem with our window shades, and the shower and sink didn’t drain very well and drains smelled. Staff were nice though. Our room wasn’t cleaned the last day we were there, so we didn’t get our $30 worth of boxed water, but cleaning before was very thorough. Would stay again. Neighborhood was near ghetto, but was safe. We walked to a couple places at night, never felt unsafe. Generally a good stay.

Convenient location if you need to stay in DTLA. Friendly staff and fast valet. Lots of attention to detail and well thought out rooms and amenities. Rooms are on the small side and rather dark. But overall, clean and cozy.

everything was pretty good, although the water that came out of the bathroom sink smelled very strongly of rotten eggs, which was weird. in most hotels I've stayed in they provide cups to brush your teeth, however none were provided, so that could be improved. water pressure from the shower was low, but that's typical of most hotels. the bathroom was nice otherwise. bed was comfortable, and room was spacious and clean. area is close to transit so that was convenient.

Great stay
This hotel is very comfortable with watm decor throughout. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The one downside was the bathroom. We had a standard king room, and the bathroom has no storage for Toiletries. I suggest a small shelf at the very least.

The first night we stayed I believe 9th floor the bathroom had a loud fan noise and we could hear a tapping noise that was coming from inside the wall. We were moved to a different room since nothing was able to be done about this. The rest of the nights were amazing there were no noise besides the 7am protesters which was out of there hand. They have a lot of areas to take great pictures and the pool area was a great bonus.
