I like that there was a working refrigerator and a microwave. But the amenities, the furnitures, the interior, the bathroom, the television and everything else seemed outdated. Like a film from the 70s. I was a little grossed out. You can't hook your HDMI cable to the TV. I tried to stay as little as possible in the hotel during the day. Only when I was super sleepy did I go back.

Great location to get to Universal Studios and Amtrack train Station. Very helpful and friendly staff! King studio was so big and excellent !!

Very run down but you can tell the staff works hard with what they have. Linens, floor and pool very clean but wallpaper is peeling off in rooms, broken tiles in pool/spa and ant issues

The Mikado Hotel is a very good value for the money. The staff were kind and helpful and it was quiet at night.

Its very durty .. walls very durty, curtains durty and have burns from cigarettes.. properry look that they don do any maintenance. Breakfast its not somenthing really good.

Kept finding ants in the bed and shower and sink area. Pulled back blankets of one of the beds and it was very dirty. Construction going on right outside of hotel so when I called my Ubers they wouldn’t drive to the main entrance and I had to lug all my stuff down the block. Kind staff

Room was average, kinda warm, ac seem that it was not cooling enough, only had a issue, they gave me a queen size bed, i had book a king size cause the room i was suppose to get the ac had broke down, as much as i paid for the place they should of have complimentary breaksfast.
