I booked this hotel for 1 night, my family and I attended horror nights at universal studios and wanted a near by hotel to stay the night, this motel has been one of the worse experiences I have had, first of all it’s so but so loud, you can hear absolutely everything that happens outside and inside of the motel, the floors make a cracking sound all the time, you can hear it from all around the other rooms, there was even a leaking drop sound in our bathroom that was coming from the upper room, the mini fridge sounded like it was going to break out any minute, and to top it off they charge $20dlls for parking even when they don’t have enough parking spaces (you do have to leave your car keys so they can park it) they also do not have any shampoo in the bathroom, you only get 1 little bar soap, just in general this motel was so disappointing and dirty to say the less, and if you think oh well it just a motel, think twice because I have stayed in different motels 6 with no complain that’s why I didn’t mind the price of $200dlls for a night in thinks place just because it’s near by universal studios.

The best thing about Motel 6 was the value for money and proximity to Hollywood boulevard. It is a bit run down, like carpets are worn out, and the handle to the main door was taped, but the rooms are clean, the staff is super helpful, and the location is awesome. So for price, the value is awesome..

Great location near Hollywood. Very close to all attractions, and a 15 minute walk from the Hollywood Bowl. Limited parking garage - make sure you call in advance to save a spot. Clean rooms, excellent hotel.

There is no parking, we had to pay to park our car a block away. The front window of the hotel was missing and boarded up when we arrived but they did have it replaced the day we checked out so we did not have access to the front door, we had to exit and enter through the basement, the safety lock on our door had been broken off and replaced with a homemade one so we were a little nervous going to sleep. The window was open when we got to our room so it was very hot and humid in the room but we did turn on the air conditioning unit and it worked fine. They do not provide any shampoo, conditioner, or body wash- We were given two little bars of soap. The elevator was spotty, we ended up using the stairs more. We were woken up by the floor creaking above us as those guests were walking around. The benefits were it was fairly clean and close walking distance to a lot of things.

Fine in a pinch. Be warned, Hollywood has reverted back to late 1990’s - abandoned storefronts, sketchy people, rampant crime. While I was there, a double shooting happened in the corner around 11:30pm-midnight.
