Property was nice and staff was nice and very helpful. The only issue is that the water pressure in the room was very low but it is a great place for a quick weekend trip. Definitely would stay again

We enjoyed our stay at the Portofino Inn. Large room with comfortable bed and good bathroom Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast available in reception. Good location and nice Italian restaurant around the corner for dinner.

I stayed at the hotel for the cinegear expo and the service was amazing I saw that I had a leaky toilet seat and I mentioned it to the person at the front desk and they immediately got on it and fixed it for me the room was clean and neat staff was so nice and welcoming I’d stay here again when a trip or business trip comes up in Burbank or downtown LA

Not a good experience.
This was a family vacation, i reserved the room for 3 days. This is an old hotel, The frond desk guy was nice, the room was dirty, the carpet and room smells bad. I had to call one of the maids to vacuum it the room. Furnitures in the room are too old, I think I’m not going to reserve in this hotel again!

A bit of a hiccup when we arrived at 3:30pm when check in was 3pm. We had to wait a short while and then when we entered our room, it was 2 queen beds instead of a king bed I reserved. The hotel manager said it was an upgrade, and that a king bed room wasn't available for another hour or so. We told them we reserved a king bed 6 months prior. He was able to get us in a king bed room within 5 minutes. Place is clean and maintained well, however it is a little worn and outdated. Otherwise, the place was quiet and convenient to the location of my 50th year high school reunion.

Loud prolonged sounds from (I believe) pipes/plumbing throughout the night. It's impossible to believe this issue hasn't been reported to the hotel staff many times before, but clearly the issue has been ignored. Also, I had a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on my door which was completely ignored by the maid in the morning. She knocked and opened the door. I was still in bed. To be honest, I'd never stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room had not been completely renovated however. The small refrigerator was on the floor, the dresser was missing drawers, they instead had wire racks. Only 2 hangers in the closet. Had to request a hair dryer. The shower head had no water pressure. The handyman changed the shower head while we were gone. But the next morning when we used it, it’s now a fire hose! Plus, it was aiming outside the tub, soaking the floor. They only give you 2 small bath towels, one wash cloth. The house phone to call the office did not work. The food was standard continental. Over all, they did have good coffee!

I really liked my stay here. The location feels very secure and the rooms are clean. It’s quite spacious and looks exactly like the photos. The only drawback is that the walls are thin so during the day if you are trying to nap, you can hear all the sounds from outside like the cleaning ladies rolling their carts. But all in all, a good choice.
