Location is fairly central for much of LA county. Nice on property hotel for Universal Studios. Free and convenient shuttle to City Walk every 15 minutes. Easy checkin and checkout. Friendly staff. Very service oriented.

The Sheraton was a wonderful location for visiting Universal Studios / Universal CityWalk. There is a convenient shuttle for access to Universal, but it is also a quick 5-10 minute walk. The Staff were very kind and helpful, and created a wonderful environment. The building itself is a bit worn down, and the cleanliness could have been a bit better (hair in bathrooms, etc). Overall I would recommend the Sheraton Universal Hotel for anyone looking to attend Universal Studios Hiollywood, or Universal Citywalk.

Ok for one night
Only stayed for a night for a trip to Universal Studios the next day. We were in a basement room next to the swimming pool and gym. You could hear other rooms and the bathroom was dated. Very nice walk to Universal.

Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The common areas were clean and comfortable. Food options were inviting and delicious. Portions were huge! Parking was a bit pricey but I felt that my vehicle was safe. Walking distance to Universal Studios but there is a free shuttle if you don't want to walk. My room could have been cleaner--entryway floor, baseboards --but my bed was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The surfaces were clean and fresh. I am happy we stayed here and look forward to returning!

I got Covid from the hotel room. Make sure you bring disinfectant because the staff isn’t doing a proper job of cleaning the rooms for guests.

The hotel is in a good location that you can walk to the universal studios. The check-in was terrible that we had never experienced. We booked a room with a king bed and a sofa bed which was clearly confirmed with the front desk when we checked in. However when got into the room, we found there was a small sofa but not a sofa bed. We called the front desk but they said it was a sofa bed and he would send a room service person to instruct us how to make the sofa to a bed. Nobody showed up after 30 minutes. We called again and was told the room service person would come in 10-20 minutes. Another 30 minutes passed and still no one showed up. In the 3rd call, we had to tell the same issue for the 3rd time and then our call was transferred to room service who had no context of the issue. We repeated our issue for the fourth time, but the room service people simply transferred us back to the front desk without saying anything. This is another person and we have to explain our issue for the fifth time. Surprisingly the person admitted the room was wrongly labeled and they would give us another room. While My husband simply asked them to give us the new room keys asap , the front desk person yelled to us “don’t yell at me” and hang up the phone. We got the new room keys after 10 minutes. But this was not over. They forgot to enable the valet parking with the new keys, which we found out the next day after being blocked at the valet gate and tried all ways with the room key.

Room was dated and lacking a quality finish. Issue with AC and cold water during our stay but the Hotel Manager helped resolve. Great location for Universal Studios. Restaurant staff were excellent but front desk not very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. Gym was excellent.

We spent Christmas on the property. Most of it seems fully remodeled, there are some parts that still are under construction. Overall it was a perfect stay! The only constructive feedback I have is to smell your towels before use. One of ours was not the best smelling.
