This was our second experience with Hotel Riu Palace and it was as wonderful as we were expecting with an excellent variety of food, drinks, and amicable and attentive staff. We will go for the third time soon!

Disappointed in our week at the palace. Restaurants were closed, we were given misinformation, options were limited, the Italian restaurant had poor options. The entertainment was not good either and the lack of poolside music was unfortunate. Likely won’t return.

Birthday trip
Went on trip for my birthday with family. You have access to the sister hotel next door. Great entertainment and parties. Food at buffet was good. At the restaurant not so much. Drinks were water down ridiculously which was a bummer so i just stuck with wine. Over all had a good experience.

the bad: - guy at the front desk, one step below Victor, appeared to be the supervisor of everyone, or maybe just inserted himself into everything in a very condescending way - people allowed to smoke at the pools - the rooms bad mold smell - cardio gym very bad shape - the spa was terrible c.s. desk - the app is terrible. want you to use it to make things look book a spa service. they respond hours later and say 'no possible' on the time you selected. uh, could you give me a option. wait another 6 hours . go in person, they have lots of options that afternoon. - can't charge on property purchases to your room with card on file the good - excellent food. - excellent service by all but the one dude at the front desk and the spa (outdoor massage outstanding - Delia!!) - excellent bar tenders - excellent drink choices - excellent to have access to RUI Santa Fe - excellent beach - excellent views from the rooms - excellent c.s. at the pool - pools very clean - great food options regardless of time of day - Victor is excellent - love that there is a party pool and a non-party pool. we did both, and enjoyed both - only a 1.5 mile walk into town on a safe road - closed down the pool at a reasonable hour so didn't have to listen to all night partying Great value for the money.

The property was gorgeous, well maintained, and a great location with no hotel to the left of us. Every encounter with the staff was fantastic. They all went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of. I can not say enough great things about our stay at Riu Palace. We will definitely be back again soon.

The water was turned for for the day. This was bad. No water to flush toilets or bathe. The resort is nice but it needs to be updated. The employees are wonderful and friendly. The entertainment needs to be better. Not much to do at resort. Mini fridge didn’t work Saw a big roach in bedroom.

The restaurant food was excellent The buffet food was not good. Everyday it was the same. The entertainment was not great. The hotel could use some upgrades. One day the water was turned off for at least 8 hours. Some plumbing problems. The mini fridge was not working. The couch in room was dirty. There were a lot of mosquitoes in bedroom the day we arrived. The people across from our room were ver loud at night.
