Had a last minute night in Louisville. I thought this hotel would be good for the price. I should have paid more and gotten a better room. The room had an AC unit but didn't cool the room.

Rooms fairly decent, carpet newer sink area updated, sheet had a burn hole but it said no smoking on the door. Only saw 1 roach, good for when you need to get some sleep and a shower for a low price, lay rid to change $60 instead of the $50 it says online for deposit. She agreed to change it.

Upon arrival I was unaware of a $60 cash deposit before receiving the room key which I had to leave and go the the ATM. (very inconvenient).the guest agent was very unfriendly. I ask him to NOT assign me to a room in the back that faced the expressway...and he assigned me rm 221 which was in the back and faced the expressway! When i entered the room is was not properly cleaned or fully stocked with necessities. The sink dripped constantly. There was a hole punched in the bathroom door and the water pressure in the shower was not working properly, also the tub was clogged and drained very slow which left soap scum and dirt in the tub that I wiped out by hand with a wet towel in order to shower again. The AC unit constantly shocked out and barely was blowing cold air. And the TV had a blue glare that covered 1/4 of the screen and the remote was not responding and it had a rattle inside of it. Also, when I pulled back the bed covering the mattress was very unsanitary and very nasty-it was covered in feces, blood stains and had numerous black burns and spot all over it...I covered the hotel bedding with my personal sheets, and pillowcases however it was a very unrestful sleep because the smell of the mattress was foul and unfortunately I was awakened by several bug bites!! I informed the agent at the front desk of all this and the response that I received was "Speak with the manager in the morning" that made me feel very unwelcome so I checked out a day early a went to the ER

Unlawfully denying people due to service animals
Again, this hotel refused us because of my service animal, which is against the law never even got to go in the door because they refused to allow me because of my service animal, which is a discrimination against people with disabilities. It’s Against the law to deny a person because of a service animal The Americans with disabilities act of 1990 it is unlawful for any place to deny the entrance of any person with a service animal, and these hotels are continuously thinking that they can get away with it

Hotel is run down and smelled musty. Loose tiles in the bathroom. Should have trusted other reviews but was looking for something quick and cheap for only a few hours of sleep. Would not recommend for a family.
