Postage Stamp of a Room
It is super cute from the outside, but the room was postage stamp size with absolutely NO FRILLS. The queen bed is more like a full-size bed. There is no room for more than 2 people in the room itself and even that, you are literally tripping over each other. The patio was as large as the room. The patio view is eye level with the fence, rather than looking at the lighthouse. Go up one floor for a much better view. No hair dryer but they painted around and left the hair dryer holder on the wall, no pictures on the walls (or even painted mural to make it cute) but plenty of screw holes to be seen. Loud refrigerator that you had to walk around at night as there was no real walking space in the room. No screen door for the patio for a breeze without bugs. No full-length mirror so not a good place to get ready for a wedding. It is a drop your bags and go kind of place rather than stay and enjoy. Warning signs everywhere on what not to do or they will charge you extra. Not that we would do any of those things but came across unfriendly and cheap. Been wanting to stay here for years and was really disappointed overall.

We have stayed at Snyder's for the past 5 years. Different rooms, different floors.Always lake view. This facility is quite and the staff always willing to help. This year our room was in the process of updating. Our room might not have pictures on the walls, but we were very comfortable. We will stay there again next year. Sunsets and The Badger keeps us coming back.

Waterfront was gorgeous, rooms clean, all was well maintained. Price great when compared to newer facilities also on water, but it was so well taken care of that we found the age charming. Walkability was not as we thought though, us31too busy to cross, crosswalks and bridges down a ways.
